Criminal [Book 2]

Chapter One

Everyone who was not involved in Jack's engagement had been absolutely delighted when they found out that he and Beth were getting married. This was a big deal in this group and Beth was meeting all these new people that she didn't even know existed. Noah had a new girlfriend, Arianna who was actually a doctor who worked at the clinic that the boys would go to. She was part of this whole thing. Beth also met a lot of friends of the boys and their children and wives. She had no idea that there were so many people involved in this, She thought it was just the boys. It was like a cute little criminal community and she thought it was actually very nice.

They all turned up the wedding which wasn't a big deal. One of their criminal friends married them and it was beautiful and everyone cheered for them. Jack looked incredible in a suit and he made sure to tell Beth every minute that she looked like the most beautiful woman in the world in her dress. It was perfect.

It had taken place in one of Jack's friends' hotels which was amazing and five stars and extremely expensive. Although there must have been some sort of discount due to the friendship. They stayed in the hotel the night of their wedding and they were flying out to their honeymoon the next day.

Jack had booked them a honeymoon away from everyone for two weeks in Hawaii. Two weeks of sun, sand, sex and alcohol. Perfect.

Beth wasn't as nervous to travel this time. They had their fake names and passports and they got completely away with it. He had booked them first-class seats and it was just amazing. They were treated like royalty on this plane. Beh kept thinking to herself, would they be acting this way if they knew who he really was? probably not. It made her laugh.

"Do you remember when we had to get the flight back from Mexico?" Jack asked

"Of course, I was terrified" Beth said

"I was so sure that we would get caught because you were panicking so much" Jack smiled

"That would have been bad, I wouldn't have you anymore" Beth said

"You would have so told the police about me at that point" Jack said

"Wrong, I was past liking you at that point" Beth smiled

"I'm glad" Jack smiled leaning down to kiss her

When they landed in Hawaii and got to their hotel, it was very warm and the beach was right at their front door. Obviously, he had gotten them a beach house.

"This is absolutely amazing Jack" Beth grinned at him

"Anything for you Mrs Verona" Jack grinned "Now can we please go to bed now?" He added with a wink

"Oh please we did it like four times last night, its beach time" Beth smiled "Please"

"Of course" Jack smiled rolling his eyes

They changed into their swimwear and they made their way out the front door and straight onto the sand.

"I must say you look fantastic in that bikini" Jack said as Beth laid down on her towel

"Keep it in your pants until tonight jeez, I'll give you everything you want then," Beth said, flipping onto her stomach to tan her back.

"Look forward to it" Jack said laying down next to her

"Yes and since I'm doing that, put sunscreen on my back" Beth said

"Anything for any kind of physical contact" Jack laughed flicking open the cap of the sun cream

Jack was certainly a happy boy that night. Sex on the beach, in the private hot tub and finally on the bed. They couldn't get enough of each other which was absolutely perfect.

Jack definitely made this honeymoon something Beth wouldn't forget. He took her out every night for dinner and exploring and the place was beautiful. He was such a big softy at heart really.

The two weeks went by fast sadly, too fast. They needed to go back to reality and out of their own little fairyland that they lived in when they were here. It was back to Beth worrying every time Jack went on a job with the boys and wondering what time he would be coming home at. However, she couldn't complain too much, she loved Jack and this is all part of his life. She put up with it for him.

"Do you have any work or anything with the boys when we go back?" Beth asked as they sat in the airport waiting for their flight home

"Not for at least another week, why?" Jack asked

"I just want to have a little more time with you before we go back to normal" Beth said putting her head on his shoulder

"I love you Beth and I'm sorry you get really worried when I leave," Jack said

"It's okay, it's all part of this life, I can deal with it," Beth said cuddling into him further

Beth wondered what it would be like if they had a completely normal life and he wasn't a criminal? However, she couldn't think like that, Jack was who he was and she met him through the way he was. To her, he was absolutely perfect.
