Today was the day. It was finally the day that Beth and Jack would be leaving this house and flying halfway across the world. She was standing in the middle of their now completely empty living room with Angelina in her arms. The sun was rising and creating a dull light in the room.

It was early and Beth was waiting for Jack to come downstairs after checking every room upstairs to see if they had left anything important.

They would be meeting Arianna and the boys at the airport to say their final goodbyes and that would be them, on their own.

"This will be a new start for us, huh?" Beth smiled down at Angelina as she wriggled around in her arms "Are you ready to leave little one?"

"The question is, are you ready to leave?"

Beth turned to see Jack coming downstairs with their passports and keys in his hands. She smiled at him.

"I am ready" Beth nodded

"100% ready?" Jack asked

"I am, i promise I'm excited" Beth smiled

"Okay babe, everything in the car?" Jack asked

"Yeah, just me and our baby and that'll be everything" Beth said

"Let's get going then, we don't want to be late" Jack said

Beth nodded and walked with him to the front door. He opened it for her to leave and locked it behind them. He would be leaving the keys with Noah and Arianna so whoever needed the house could get it. Beth strapped Angelina in the car and got in herself in the passenger seat. Jack started up the car and drove out of the driveway.

Beth watched the house get smaller and smaller in the side mirror as they drove away and she felt a sinking feeling but she knew that would happen. Once they got onto the main roads, she felt a little better.

Now she was away from the house, she felt more excited than sad that she was leaving the place.

"How far away are we?" Beth asked

"We'll be at the airport in an hour" Jack said "Our flight isn't for another four hours so we'll plenty of time to say goodbye"

"Good" Beth smiled

The airport seemed to appear in much less than an hour. The car was parked up so Noah could take it away with him and Beth got Angelina out of the car while Jack got the bags. They made their way into the airport and checked in their stuff and waited for Noah, Andrew and Arianna to arrive before they went through security. They were later than they said they would be but it didn't bother Beth too much. It meant the goodbye had to be quick and less painful.

"Sorry we're late!" Beth heard Arianna say as she ran towards them

"You're not that late, its fine" Beth smiled

"You have the keys?" Noah asked

"Here you go, house keys and car keys" Jack nodded

"This is it then" Andrew said

"I don't want this goodbye to last too long because then it'll get emotional" Beth said

"Me neither, I think we said everything we wanted to say, it's just a case of one final goodbye," Jack said

"Good luck out there" Noah said tapping Jack's shoulder "I know this one will keep it together for everyone" He added nodding at Beth

"You know i will" Beth smiled at him

"I wish you all the best out there girl" Arianna smiled "And you better grow up to be the best child ever or you'll have Auntie Arianna to face" She smiled down at Angelina

They all hugged goodbye and they finally left them to go through security. Like all the times before, they went through with a breeze and now they were left sitting in the airport waiting for their plane to be ready. Beth watched other planes take off as she nursed Angelina. Jack had wandered off to make phone calls with people to make sure everything over there was good and waiting for them.

When he returned, their flight had been called and they joined the line of people boarding. Jack had set up first-class for them so they could face this flight comfortably and to make it a little easier with the baby. When they got seated, Jack took Angelina in his seat with him. Beth lay the seat back slightly and looked over at Jack.

"I'm excited" Jack smiled looking out the window

"So am i, i feel like we're flying away from all our troubles, I'll feel less tense when we get there" Beth said

"It feels good to be going somewhere that i won't be threatened" Jack said

"Please don't create any drama over here, this is a chance at a normal life, no more crime" Beth said

"I'll try" Jack grinned making Beth smile back at him.

Once the plane had lifted off, Beth settled in to sleep for a while as Jack watched the baby. She snoozed for a bit while listening to him talk to Angelina in the background. It was very cute and it reminded her of why she was excited when she found out they would be having a baby together. He is an amazing father and she couldn't wait to land in Australia and really have a new start for their family. They would be a normal, crime free family.
