Time had moved sufficiently forward and every seemed to be good and working well for Jack and Beth. Jack had healed fully in the hospital and they were allowed to leave a few days after Beth had given birth. He was fine with only a few scars and cuts to leave with. All the rest of the boys were eventually fine too and it had all settled down.
A few months on, Angelina was coming along fantastically. She was a healthy and happy baby and growing perfectly. They adored her to no end as did everyone else. The first time they brought her into the nursery was so special to Beth. Her whole little family was together in the perfectly decorated room and she felt so comfortable and happy.
Over the first few weeks of having her, Jack and Beth could both admit, it was a little hard. Getting her into a routine was hard and they certainly weren't used to being woken up so frequently and then up so early in the morning. However, they adjusted and the responsibility was shared between them both. Seeing Jack holding their tiny angel made Beth love him a little bit more each time.
Nothing had happened over the past few months and for a second, Beth thought that maybe it was finally time that all the fighting had settled down for now. Jack didn't seem too worried about something happening to the family after he healed up. However it was only right for him to feel a little panicked about it as the attack seemed to be very aimed at him. He was hurt the most after all. Beth didn't want to let herself think about something happening to her family but she liked to be prepared for it.
Tonight, however, that was the least of her worries. She couldn't get Angelina to settle at all. She kept waking every ten minutes and she could only blame it on her teething. However it did seem strange to Beth. Once she got her down, she got herself into bed with Jack and settled slightly. Ten minutes later she could hear her cry again but she had a bad feeling. Jack was soundly asleep and didn't even hear her cry this time, Beth didn't want to disturb him.
Beth made her way sleepily to the nursery to be revealed with something that made her panic. She knew something was wrong.
"What the hell are you doing in my house?" Beth shouted to the two men in her babies room. They both turned to her before she began to move to get her baby.
One came for Beth and tackled her to the ground. She began to fight back with him as she screamed for Jack hoping he would wake up and come help. The man was tough but she would not give up this fight. Whatever this fight was for, she wasn't sure?
"Jack!!!!!" Beth screamed at the top of her lungs before she could hear loud footsteps. The man punched her hard on the face to get her to shut up but it didn't work. No matter how much pain that caused her.
Beth turned to see one of the guys running out of the room before Jack appeared a few seconds later. He got the man off of Beth and completely knocked him out cold. Beth left him with that to go get the other guy.
Beth ran out of the room and downstairs but the front door was open and no one was in sight outside. She just wanted to scream at that point.
"Fuck!!" Beth screamed "They have our baby, they took our angel"
Jack came rushing downstairs knowing exactly what had happened now. The panic in his eye said it all. He took hold of Beth's hands and tried to calm her down. She could not be calmed.
"We'll get her back, i promise" Jack said
"How the hell do you know that" Beth shouted at him
"Please calm down" Jack said wrapping his arms around Beth and hugging her into him
"Everything was perfect Jack" Beth sobbed into his shoulder "What if they hurt her? Ill never live with myself if they do"
"Ill do everything i can to prevent that" Jack said
Jack somehow managed to calm Beth down enough to get her to go to their bedroom to try and sleep. His plan was to message everyone and let them know what had happened. Everyone would definitely be up for helping them out but this would take planning. There wasn't any point in going into something that they had no idea about.
They need to be prepared for fighting these people so they can get their angel back to them safely and as soon as possible.
Jack got rid of the guy that he had knocked out in the baby's room and it seemed he may know who it is. That's the only good news Beth had received before she went off to her room for her own time.
She could hear the voices of those she recognised downstairs as the house started to fill with people who wanted to help them out. It sounded busy down there but she didn't want to face anyone yet. She assumed Jack had told them she was sleeping which was good, she needed to be alone. She left it to them to think of a plan for now until she felt she was ready to talk about it.
No matter how they carried this out, she just wanted her little baby back.
