Third Person POV
The male stared at his phone. He has probably sent approximately more than fifteen text messages to his friend, who has not yet seen nor replied to a single one of his texts.
Amatsuki grew worried. They planned out a collab for two songs that they were supposed to record today but from the looks of it, the albino probably got sick again.
Honestly, he should take care of himself more and stop always working his butt off without taking a break.
He decided that he had to go to his apartment to check up on him. He wasn't even sure if Mafu got sick, he probably just overslept again or completely forgot about their collab.
The brown-haired male went out. The albino's apartment wasn't too far away from his own, so he didn't need to rush. He stopped by at a nearby convinience store to buy a few snacks and drinks that they could eat, since Mafu probably only had spicy cup noodles in his kitchen with bottles of tea inside of his fridge.
Amatsuki sighed, he felt like a mother who always had to check up on their child. He saw the apartment in the distance and walked faster. A familiar figure was there, leaning on the wall.
"Ah, Soraru-san!" He waved his hand, trying to catch the older male's attention as he yelled.
Soraru looked at him and greeted him, "Hey, did Mafu text you that he'll go somewhere? No one's answering his front door."
"I was wondering the same thing to you," He panted, taking in deep breaths, "He hasn't seen any of my messages!"
"I was only supposed to return his cardigan that he left in my apartment but it felt like no one was inside at all. Do you have the extra key with you?"
The raven-haired male ran his fingers through his dark locks, lifting his arm to show a rather oversized, khaki-colored cardigan.
The brunet nodded, trying to get the key from his pocket then showed it to the older.
"I still have somewhere I need to head to, do you mind returning this for me?"
"No problem at all, Soraru-san." Amatsuki showed off a determined smile on his face and took the jacket with his left hand, as the other chuckled.
"Thanks, I'll see you around."
"Bye!"
Now that that was dealt with, Amatsuki went up the stairs until he reached the fourth floor. And he was tired, trying to steady his breathing. He went straight to the albino's front door.
He rang the doorbell twice, knocked on the wooden door five times, and tried to call him once. There was still no answer.
He couldn't have been asleep, despite his messed up sleeping schedule. It was already 3PM and surely he should be awake now.
The brunet fumbled with the key and opened the door. He quietly muttered a 'Pardon for the intrusion.' before he attempted to call the albino's name again. Still not recieving a reply.
"Mafu-kun! Honestly, what am I going to do with you..." Amatsuki huffed as he took off his shoes, then went to the kitchen and placed the store-bought snacks on the kitchen counter and neatly folded the younger's thick and oversized cardigan.
He felt something soft brushing against his ankles. He looked down to see Iroha on his right and Poteto nuzzling their heads while letting out small meows.
