Third Person POV

It was a normal Sunday morning. The only rest day for the blonde since her work days start from Monday to Saturday, and she wanted to spend the day to the fullest with her beloved who lived in the apartment just beside hers. Usually, she would only laze around in her own apartment to relieve some stress and relax for how long as she'd like, but today was one of Reol's off days too and she absolutely needed to spend the day with her instead of relaxing alone.

Except that... she wasn't really living alone in her apartment.

Lon had two pets- er, companions. Before, she was the only one who lived here, but she came across a pair of abandoned cats near a back alley when she was on her way home from work. It was a rainy night that time too, and she felt really bad for the poor angels since they were really drenched from the pouring rain.

Of course, being the kind soul that she was, she took the small cats in her care and brought them both with her to her apartment. They were both the complete opposite of each other, both from their personalities and appearances. One was a really energetic and high-spirited albino cat, with really fluffy fur and bright ruby eyes. Sometimes, it would get really shy and timid all of a sudden when it's alone with her, but it slowly warmed up to her when she spent more time with it. Lon named the little angel Mafu, since its fur was really soft and its meows were really cute and somewhat high-pitched.

The other cat was much more reserved and calm than Mafu. It had dark, raven fur and glistening sapphire eyes. Its fur was fluffier than the albino's, but it doesn't really like being touched and pet all the time by anyone. Although sometimes it didn't mind being scratched behind the ear, it would suddenly hiss at her and show its sharp nails when her fingers would get too close to its face. She named the feisty feline Soraru, since its pretty eyes reminded her a lot of the sky at daytime and its fur when it's night.

Both of them were male cats, and they were close. Like, incredibly close, almost inseparable even. Soraru would get really protective of Mafu and hiss at her whenever the blonde would pick him up and cuddle with him. The albino on the other hand, would get really whiny and would meow all the time when he's not with the older cat. It was charming, to say the least. It was the first time for Lon to experience seeing two cats of the same gender being really lovey-dovey with each other. Maybe it was just friendly love, but it didn't matter since she grew fond of their cute interactions.

But she didn't expect that taking care of those two would take a different turn.

One day, Lon had just returned from the veterinary clinic with Mafu after having him neutered, and both the albino and Soraru were not okay with it. Mafu had to be left alone for a while for atleast a day- according to what the veterinarian said, because of his change of behaviour. The raven-furred feline was really unhappy that he couldn't play with Mafu, or even comfort him since Soraru probably wanted him to be comfortable and to recover fully after the surgery. Or... so Lon had assumed that's why Soraru didn't stick close to the albino for a week.

After two weeks when it was supposed to be Soraru's turn to be neutered, things went through the way she didn't expect it to go.

In that particular day, Lon didn't come home to see her cats welcoming her by the doorstep. Maybe they were both in the spare room that she turned into their own area, she thought. But instead, there were two boys on the couch cuddled up against each other. And mind you, they were both naked, and they looked much younger than Lon's age.
