Third Person POV

"Bring an umbrella with you, the weather forecast today said that it might rain in the afternoon." 

The slightly shorter man handed over a folding umbrella to his lover, a small frown visible on his lips and his forehead in worry since the older male might return home late again. His boyfriend wasn't really one to lose track of time when he's out, but nowadays his schedule has gotten busier and more hectic, especially with his constant meetings with his staff or with Info-san.

Soraru only smiled at his lover's concern for him, it was heartwarming to see the albino worry over the simplest things that involved him and his health, but moreso every time he leaves their shared apartment for some appointments that he needed to attend to. He cupped Mafu's left cheek, brushing his thumb near the bags under his eyes before leaning in to give the younger male a chaste kiss on the lips, then on his forehead just so he wouldn't ask for more since he really needed to get going.

"I'll only be out for a while, so don't worry too much and get some sleep while I'm gone, okay? Your eyebags are getting worse and you're spacing out more than usual..." The smile on his face faltered a little, as he continued to observe his lover's face. It's true, he noticed how Mafu has gotten a lot more fatigued this week, not to mention the constant requests for attention and affection before he would fall asleep cuddling next to Soraru or sitting on Soraru's lap while he worked, as if there was something that sapped out his usual enthusiasm and energy. 

No words were exchanged between them after that, the albino only gave a small nod as he rubbed his face on the raven-haired male's palm like a kitten, looking as if he was about to doze off while standing just from feeling the warmth on Soraru's hand. His long, delicate lashes fluttered, his eyes closed as to savour the warm feeling on his face, making him look even more ethereal in his lover's eyes. Soraru, despite nearly having yet another heart attack from the cute display, couldn't help but grin again in adoration.

"You're making it harder for me to leave, y'know?" Mafu pouted his lips childishly, feeling warmth bursting in his chest when he heard the melodious sound of Soraru's lighthearted chuckle in his ears. Work was just taking up a lot of his time, is all. He didn't really mind it since writing lyrics was one of the main things he enjoys doing most, and his immense passion for his music career was the only thing that makes him happy.

Of course, having his loving boyfriend with him gave another, much better feeling of happiness to him that's incomparable even to his passion for music.

Plus, a certain hobby had become something that turned out to be his guilty pleasure and something he always does without his boyfriend's knowledge about it.

"Alright, I'll see you later. Love you, honey." 

"Mm, I love you too." Mafu blushed a little from the given pet name, opening his eyes to look up at his lover with a sweet smile as he then got closer to hug him. The older male instantly wrapped his arms around the albino's petite figure, pulling him closer as he took the handle of the umbrella in his hand while the other rested on his lover's hips. His eyes darted over to their wall clock, a small part of him panicking when he saw how long Info-san must've been waiting for him.

The raven-haired male pulled away from the hug and kissed the younger's lips again, before stepping out the front door as he waved at his lover. Mafu waved back with a small smile, before the door finally closed shut as the sound of hurried footsteps started to faded outside. A sigh escaped his lips, he was alone again in their home. Well, Iroha and Poteto were here to keep him company, but despite the comforting presence of their two cats, he still couldn't shake off the feeling of loneliness whenever Soraru was out for some things related to his work.
