Third Person POV

Saturday. The same old, boring and dull day of the week that Mafumafu wasn't really fond of.

Here he was, eyes glued on the ceiling as the same soap opera continued to play on his television, filling the chilly morning air with the same argument from its melodramatic scenes. It didn't stir up the albino's interest, he's watched it as a child countless of times and only kept it there as background noise, so it wouldn't feel too lonely in the apartment.

His cats were spending their time in the cat tree, the younger and smaller kitten attempting to climb the poles of the cat tree for the nth time while the older feline merely watched from above. Mafumafu could only imagine how easy life could be if he were to be born as a cat, the ability of being immune to succumbing to the tedious feeling of boredom was something he could wish for.

Or maybe it was just him not looking at the possible things he could do. One of his most respected seniors, a close friend and partially his love interest too, had already scolded him countless of times to pause from work for atleast a day, and Mafumafu couldn't complain since, obviously, he had been working himself to the bone on a daily basis just to catch up with his promised upload schedule.

But it was also a hobby of his, and that's what lead him to his current situation.

He had a lot of options, which ranged among continuing his work, writing some lyrics once he refreshes his mind, finding something better to do that won't tire out his body, or going outside for some normal interaction and socializing with other people or his friends for once in his life. It was a difficult choice for him to decide on, though the last one was definitely off the list since, being the well-known shut-in that he is, it's too much of a hassle to go to the outside world for some sun.

Groaning internally, the albino sprung from his previous position of laying down on the sofa and stared off into space, his mind unable to come up with a better way to diminish his boredom. Mindlessly tossing some of the crumpled pages from a magazine into the trash can, Mafumafu huffed out. There was something he could do, and that was to ask his friends if they can come over and play, but Mafumafu was a bit hesitant since he might only end up being a hindrance.

It's always been a common pattern when it comes to his poor decision-making, but the albino was scared of possibly annoying any of his friends just to quell with his boredom. He knew that finishing even just a small portion of his work will still disappoint that person, and Mafumafu was compliant enough not to do it even if it means not letting that person know.

Eventually, his thoughts spiralled down into the final conclusion of sending a message to a certain pair of people that he trusted the most. As if his past concerns were instantly erased off his mind, a playful grin made its way to Mafumafu's lips as he reached out and snatched his phone from the coffee table, his thumbs briskly tapping on the screen as he typed out a short message to those two people in five seconds flat.

A soft giggle left his lips, his bright carmine orbs sparkling with mischief as they read out his sent message over and over. For sure, they would definitely come just from a single glance at the message the albino texted them, and Mafumafu felt elated to the thought of having them over just for something interesting to happen, but that's what he hoped.

You see, those two people were the ones that always kept tabs with everything he does, not in a creepy way of course, they only started doing so since the first time they found out about Mafumafu's messed up work schedule and body clock. And instead of just being grateful for them, Mafumafu always had this airy, relieving and heartwarming sensation in his chest whenever his mind would drift off to those two people that cared for him deeply.
