Vasudeva's Pov
This girl can't change the past; she embodies it. When the time comes, dear Dhakshayani, you'll understand.
Diana's Pov
"Alright, let us leave from here. Please, get on the boat," he gently encouraged.
"But there's no boat—"
"Oh, here it is. I almost forgot he's also called Maaya Kanha."
"What's troubling you, Dhaksha?" he asked with concern.
"Nothing, Kanha," I replied with a smile to ease his worry.
We stepped into the boat together. Vasudeva sat before me, rowing skillfully as we ventured further into the ocean, which sparkled with incredible clarity. As we sailed, the dolphins and numerous fish greeted him playfully, and I felt a sense of wonder at the beauty surrounding us.
He began to share enchanting stories from his childhood—tales so unique that they felt sacred.
"How can Krishna be so mischievous yet lovable at the same time? How is that even possible?"
"Well, Diana, he is God. The Incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It's all part of who he is."
"What's wrong, Govindha?" I asked, sensing a shift in the air.
"My dear, we have arrived in a time when the Pandavas complete their training at Gurukulam. Remember, here you are called Dhaksha, and I am your brother," he said, placing his hands reassuringly on my shoulders.
"I think I'll need to get accustomed to Bhagavan Shri Krishna's touch around here. My heart races every time," I chuckled, trying to lighten the mood.
"Are you paying attention, my dear sister?" he asked, his voice filled with playful mischief.
"Oh, absolutely! Your dear sister Dhaksha, a title I will gladly embrace," I teased back.
"Then let's disembark," he said.
As we stepped onto land, the woods enveloped us with their lush greenery, a sight unlike anything I had ever witnessed.
"Govindha, where exactly are we? Dwaraka? Anga? Panchalam? Or is it Hastinapur?" I asked, my eyes scanning the unfamiliar terrain.
Suddenly, I realized he was no longer beside me. "What do I do now? Where did Kanha go?"
"My dear Dhaksha, you will discover your purpose soon enough. Serve the yatis here for a few months, and I'm sure you will find your way. And remember, I know you wish to learn Archery from Karna. Just promise you'll return to me after your journey," I heard his reassuring voice.
"Vasudeva will always be with you, my dear. There is no place without my presence. Bless you, Dhakshayani," he said softly, leaving me with a sense of warmth and comfort.
"Dhakshayani? Why am I known by this name now? So many mysteries surround me," I pondered.
As he advised, I set off to find the yatis I was to serve. Before long, I found myself at Lord Shiva's temple, a serene place overflowing with flowers and trees. I closed my eyes in prayer, seeking guidance and strength.
"But I really need to clean up; I feel so uncomfortable right now."
I took a deep breath and recited those magical words: "JAI SRI KRISHNA."
"Those blue-colored flowers are so soothing; they evoke a sense of peace and purity in me," I thought.
"What blue rose? Kanha? Oh, wait—a rose garden!"
Curiosity led me closer to the garden, where a quaint hut stood adorned with blue roses and peacock feathers.
"So, this is what he meant. Why can't he ever be straightforward? Why always these enigmatic riddles?"
As I entered the hut, I discovered food, clothes, and essentials—an unexpected gift that warmed my heart.
