Chapter- 37|Mother's obsession

Dhaksha's pov
I slowly regained consciousness to see everyone gathered around me. Arjuna held my hands tightly and smiled at me. His eyes were watery.
"Did I faint again? What happened to me? Wait-"
"Sakhi, Am I?" I got up.
"Yes, Dhaksha. You are going to become a mother." she smiled at me.
"Thank you, my Supriya." Arjuna planted a peck of kiss on my palm.
"I believed that Mothers are next to god. Cause they do the miracle of creating a human being from their womb. I believe the word Mother to be the strongest word ever. Now I'm going to become one. How privileged am I? Krishnaa, are you seeing this?"

"Dhaksha is pregnant?" Lord Shiva asked.
"My little sister has grown up to become a Mother," Lord Vishnu smiled.
"Aarya, my sakhi is pregnant?" Goddess Lakshmi asked.
"Yes, she is." Lord Vishnu replied.
"I'm so eager to know how you've created them, Aarya," Goddess Saraswati said.
"You'll see my dear," Lord Brahma asked.

"Aarya, when will she realize her consciousness? When will she remember all her births and avatars? And become the true form of Parvati?" Lakshmi asked
"That day is not far, Lakshmi." Lord Shiva replied. "Our cosmic dance made her a few steps close to it. Soon I'll let her know about her past."
"We're waiting for that," Saraswati replied.

"Her offspring shall protect their mother and help her to preach dharma in this world full of adharma, " Lord Vishnu said.
"And I shall protect her child, Aiyanae," Lakshmi added.
"Ayushmaan Bhava," They said.

"What happened to Dhaksha? Did she meet Rishyasringa again? Where is he?" Bheem came running.
"Aarya, relax." Draupadi stopped him.
"How can you all be relaxed? What about you, Arjuna?" Bheem asked.
"There is no Rishyasringa. But there is another person." I replied.
"Who? Let me tear them into pieces," he shouted.
"What? Sakhi, stop teasing him. Aarya, our Dhaksha is pregnant. That's why she fainted." Draupadi said.
"Yes, Bhaiya. I'm going to become a father." Aarya said.
"Dhaksha is going to become a mother?" Bheem na asked.
"Yes, Bheem Bhratta." I smiled at him.
"I'm so happy. I can't tell you how happy I am. Dhaksha, make some laddoos please." he said.
"Is this why you are happy? For laddoos?" I asked him.
"What? Laddoos? Yes." he laughed and walked away.
"How dare you?" I got up and ran behind him.
"Dhaksha, you can't run like this. You are pregnant now." Draupadi shouted.

While in Hastinapur:

Duruyodhana's pov

"Mamashree, why would you not do anything? One more year of Agyatvas is left." I said.
"My dear, Duruyodhana. We have to plan everything properly. We are dealing with Pandavas, Panchali and Dhaksha. These specials can mess up my plan easily. Have patience," he replied.
"Mamashree, are you afraid of them? Cause after we received the news of Dhaksha being the incarnation of the Goddess Parvati, you don't seem to be working on plans."
"What? Never. She can be anything. But she'll be nothing in front of this Shakuni's brain."
"He's scared. He's just bluffing about brains."
"My dear Mynthra, why did you call for me?"I heard Karna's voice.
"Sakha, you are here. I wanted you to help with the foreign affairs. Are you busy? Can you help me?"
"Yuvraj, Duryodhana, We have got a piece of special news from our spies. Rajkumari Dhaksha is pregnant," the servant said.
"Dhaksha is pregnant?" Karna asked.
Mamashree mouthed some message to me which I couldn't get it.
"What are you trying to say, Mamashree?" I asked him.
"Nothing, my son. You take care of the work with Karna." Mamashree walked away.
"I'll be back, Sakha." Karna walked away.
"Mamashree, Karna, " I called them out.
"Why do people always walk away from me?"

Karna's pov
"I heard the news that Dhaksha was pregnant. She has grown up so fast. It feels like I met her yesterday, and taught her Archery."

"Hey, you stop," I called out the servant.
"What happened, Angraj?" he greeted.
"I want you to update me with all the news about Dhaksha and I don't want you to tell this to Yuvaraj?"
"I'll make sure to convey everything to you, Angaraj," he replied.
"Where are they now?"
"They are in the Kamayakavana, Angaraj, " he greeted and left.

Dhaksha's pov

"I was almost 8 months pregnant. Time is moving slowly, The day is almost here. The anxiety and happiness are amassing, For my love will soon appear. I have so much to share with you day after day and talk to you every day and to you, my child. I will give you all my love every way."
"Why are you smiling, Aarya?" I asked.
"I'm thinking about how we encountered each other the very first day, Dhaksha," he replied.
"How you were fighting for the fruit, you mean?"
"No, how mean you were to me," he replied.
"I was not mean. I was in love."
"Being mean is being in love?"
"Why would you drive me crazy then?" I asked.
"Cause you did drive me crazy back then. I would wanna hold you close to you, keep you all for myself. But then-"
"Your stupid ego," I chuckled.
"But there is nothing on my mind now. All I want is to see our child. I'm craving for their love, my Supriya." he slid his fingers softly on my stomach.
"Will you come out soon, my dear." he kept his ears closed to my baby bump.
"My dear, your father already misses you. Come out soon."
"And save me from your mother." he chuckled.
"How dare you," I gave a pat on his head.
"I love you, stop it." he smiled at me.

We sat down for our lunch and I started to serve the food to others
"Nope, I'm going to serve you today. You have to eat healthily for the child to be healthy." he poured a large portion on my plate.
"Bhaiya, she is not Bheem to eat that much." Nakula chuckled.
"Nakula, don't tease him." Sahadev controlled her laughter.
They both started to laugh so hard.
"Enough, both of you. Let Dhaksha eat," Yudhistran Na said.
"I'm in a good mood or else you both will be done for real." he laughed.
"Here, have some vegetables," he said. "I wanna teach your child every skill."
"To teach them how to eat well, Bade Bhaiya?" I heard Kanha's voice.
"Bhaiya?" I tried to stand up slowly.
"Careful, Dhaksha." Draupadi helped me.
"Pranam, Madhava, " Aarya greeted.
I walked faster to him.
"Come slowly, You might trip down, my dear sister. This Krishna won't go anywhere." he walked to me.

"He carefully hugged me from the side, being careful of my baby bump.
"You look beautiful, Dhaksha," he said.
"Beauty with Baby Bump?" I asked.
"Yes." he chuckled.
"Where have you been? Why didn't you visit me earlier?" I hit him on the shoulder.
"I was a bit busy. I'm sorry, Dhaksha."
"Nah. Nope."
"How about now?" he showed me the box of my favorite sweet.
"You are Forgiven, Krishna." I snatched it.
"Look, this is how you handle Dhaksha," Kanha Na said.
"Madhav, why didn't you tell me about these sweet tricks?"
"This only works between brother and sister. Not you, Arjuna," I walked to my seat.
"Fine," Aarya said. "She is on her Mood swings, Madhav."
"What did you say?" I asked.
"Nothing, come let's get our blessing from Madhav."
"We bow down our heads."
"O'my sister, your sons shall possess both their Mother's and Father's quality. Mother's heart and Father's bravery."
"Madhava? Sons? You mean Abhimanyu?"
"No, Vijaya. My sister, your wife shall give birth to twins. The world shall call them both as Mirthik and Virthik!!. They shall make you both proud," he said.
"Oh, my god. Twins? Double treats?"
"I'm very happy, Kesava." Aarya smiled.
"Why don't we visit Lord Shiva's temple in the woods and seek his blessings?" Draupadi asked.
"Even I thought the same, Panchali," Kanha said.

"I'll stay with Dhaksha. You all pray for us." Aarya said.
"You should be there. You have to pray for our sons. I'll be alright. The temple is near our hut."
"But, how will we leave you alone?" Nakula asked.
"I'll be fine."
"But-" Bheem started.
"I'll be fine. Trust me. I'm strong."
They soon left to the temple as I sat in front of the Linga in our hut and started to pray to Mahadeva. Lately, my mind was filled with him."
"Omm namah Shivay"
"That's when I started to hear footsteps outside the hut. But it's impossible for them to return soon."
I resumed my prayers.
All of a sudden, the sound became audible and loud.
