About a week before the winter classic we packed and headed off to the other side of the state . The guys would be busy most the week with practice . So I found myself spending most of my time with Luke and Molly . Very soon there was only 1 day left to the game . It was the family skate and I was on the bench with Taylor watching the guys an there families skate . Watching Erhoff chase his little girls around the ice made me smile . One day that would be Sid with our children . Taylor and I sipped hot coco and chatted at one point I said to her " Have I ever told you my theory on how you became a goalie. ?"
" No You haven't . "
" Well let me explain then. I've always thought that one day Sid was practicing ad he realized I should probably find someone to play goalie . Hey Taylor why don't get in the net and I'll shoot pucks at you. Sid are you sure this is a good idea?"
Taylor laughed " That's sort of what happened actually . "
At that moment Sid skated over to where we were sitting .
" Are you going to join me Mrs. Crosby ." he said with that famous grin .
" I would love to Sid . " I set My coca down and joined him on the ice . After some time I said " I really do love these family skates . Its nice to see everyone enjoying themselves. "
" I have to agree . To think one day That will be us and our little ones one day . "
" One day very soon . My love ."
" Just so you know as soon as the little one can walk hes learning to skate ."
" I'm not surprised I expect nothing less from the first born son of Sidney Crosby. " The rest of the skate was lovely .
That evening a bunch of the guys and some of us wives and girlfriends went out to a steakhouse near the hotel . The boys needed to load up on protein . Very important game tomorrow evening . Bragging rights in the battle of the keystone state . It occurred to me at dinner I hadn't seen Giroux since Sid and I had wed . Surely the ginger had heard about the wedding ,about every hockey network out there had offered their congrats to Sid . That should take care of the whole flirting thing and when I was spotted with a baby bump it should really kill things off . Good I didn't need his melding. We made our way back to the hotel and as soon as we got in the door our lips collided . I laughed softly as Sid pushed me into the wall . " My , my captain Crosby . Someone is looking to score a little extra something tonight . "
" Of course Mrs Crosby , after all you are my good luck charm . "
I giggled and peeled his jacket off of him tossing it to the floor . Just as he pulled my sweater off of me . His hands wandered down to my hips and other places . It was a blurry of cloths flying off and kisses . It wasn't a wonder to me that I was knocked up the way we went at it . Next thing I knew we had made our way to the bed . At this point I was in nothing more then my underthings Sid however still had his pants on now how did that happen . His hands rest on my hips before he slowly pushes me backwards hovering over me His fingers tease at my underwear teasing me like he loves to do maybe I should give him a taste of his own medicine . I strip him of his pants and then we both remain in only our underthings . He takes my bra off and proceeds to work his magic . I wrap my legs around his waist he begins to kiss my neck his mouth trails a path down my body starting at my lips moving to my neck. My breasts my tummy.I tease at his underwear and he takes a moment from kissing me to speak
" Not so fast love."
I pouted " But you tease me its only fair I get to do the same . " One thing lead to the next and we found each other naked soon. He hovered over me and with a kiss I whispered "Do it ." My husband and the love of my life accepted my request and joined us . I groaned it was a slow steady motion at both of us lost in each other . Sooner or later things heated up and the bed started to shake . As we made love I heard his moans and suddenly am felling a little mischievous I kiss him gently and suggest he lets me take control we will see if that happens he likes to be in control of the situation on and off the ice . He gives in though and although I'm a bit surprised I flip so that I'm on top of him Now lets see what we can do . I grinded my hips against his own causing us both overwhelming pleasure . I threw in a few twists here and there to increase the pleasure . Before I knew it he groaned and spoke .
" Oh Claire . I'm going to lose it . "
I let him take control again and I kissed him . He was holding on for me I could tell but as soon as our tongues met he did lose it and reached his peak.
After our love making we lay in each-others arms and I whispered " I love you Sidney ."
" I love you more . "
The next day it was the winter classic and I spent most of the day with Taylor . About two and a half hours before the game I finished getting ready for the game . Applying my lip gloss I headed out the door. It was going to be a great game . I headed off to the game with Taylor , Molly and Luke . We had gotten killer seats behind the net . Warm-ups started and I watched with intent of course there were some words exchanged between the two teams . I expected none the less . There would be more then a few fights if things carried on like this . Near the end of warm ups Sid waved at me . I waved back and blew him a kiss he caught it with a smile .
" Ahh it's so cute I'm gonna puke ."
" Luke!" Molly slapped his arm
" Don't hate because you are jealous ."
After warm ups there was about 20 minutes to game time and as soon as that first whistle blew it was game on. As to be expected it was a head to head toe to toe game ,But We came out on top 3-1. Sid even scored a goal . The baby did a flip and I was starting to believe Sid's theory.
After the amazing win I headed towards the Penguins locker room where I expect to find the guys a bottle or two deep in champagne . Granted they hadn't just won the cup but our last two outdoor games hadn't really ended well. I was about half way to the locker room when I turned the corner and ran smack dab into the last person I wanted to see .... Giroux
" Well what do we have here ."
I rolled my eyes and dusted myself off " Giroux . I'd say Its nice seeing you again but then I'd be lying . "
He laughed " Just as much of a spit fire as I remember. You haven't changed a bit ."
" You haven't changed either now if you'll excuse me, I have a celebration to attend In the penguins locker room . " I moved to walk around him but he grabbed my arm .
" Not so fast we aren't finished here ."
" What do you want ." I glared at him
" You."
Without another word he pushed me against the wall and his lips clashed onto mine .
O MY GOD WHAT THE HELL!!! I struggled this was not okay on any level .Of course struggling against a 5'11 170 pound man was kind of point less . I was so pissed that I hardly notice his hands start to wander . Oh fuck oh god no please not this . I could already feel tears welling up in my eyes . Still panicking I heard someone yell .
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING TO MY WIFE!!" I felt the weight being lifted off of me and say who it was Sid . Oh praise the lord . Moving away from the wall I saw the fire in his eyes he was pissed . Livid with angry I'd never seen him like this before . I pulled myself out of theses thoughts just in time to catch the conversation .
" Just doing what I've wanted to do since I first laid eyes on her . "
Sid snarled " Did I not make myself perfectly clear. IF you ever touched her again there would be hell to pay .'
Giroux scoffed " And what are you going to do about it Cry baby ?"
" That is the last straw ! I have had it with your attitude Giroux Its time I teach you a leason !"
One minute they were simply arguing the next punches were being thrown .
Oh Crap . There was no way I could break this up and as much as I didn't care if Giroux got hurt I cared if Sid did . I had to go get help and now . I turned on my heels and ran down the hallway as fast as I could in a pair of wedges my feet were going to be killing me later.
I arrived at the locker room out of breath and my heels were killing me . I flung open the door to find a party underway . Sutter who was the closest to the entrance noticed my entrance .
" Claire ? Why Do you look like you've just run a marathon ."
I took a couple of deep breaths and tried to explain but apparently it didn't come out very well. Since he just gave me a quizzically look. At this point some of the others had noticed my arrival .
" Take some deep breaths and explain what's wrong ." Flower said
I manged to form only 3 words in the jumbled mess that was my brain " Sid, Giorux, Fight."There were mummers around the room at the word of fight.
" Claire , calm down and tell us exactly what happened." Duper said .
I somehow manged to pull myself together and speak " Its a long story I'll tell you latter Sid and Giorux are fighting in the hallway and there going to kill each other if we don't stop them .
" Lets go then . "
" Lead the way ."
" I come to ."
Borts , Downie , Dupuis and Geno followed me . This would do time to go break up a fight . Please God let them not have killed eachother.
