"Come on guys we are already running late." I exclaim trying to get my bridal party out of the coffee shop and into the car. Today, Mitch, Esther, Alyssa and I are going to go bridesmaid dress shopping. Of course leave it to us to be 10 minutes late because Mitch wanted coffee.
Since Mitch is my maid of honor I have him helping me pick out the dresses and then I am trusting him to pick out his suit on his own.
"Alright who are we buying for today?" The consultant asks as Mitch and I take a seat on the couch.
"Well Esther and Alyssa here are my bridesmaids and Mitch here is going to be my maid of honor. It's a little unconventional but we have been best friends for years." I explain. The lady nods.
"What colors are we looking for and is there a certain design you want?" She asks looking at her clipboard.
"I'm wanting to have the dresses be a nice peach color. Design wise I don't have any specifics, the wedding is going to be held on the beach. So I guess something kind of flowy." I explain. Next to me Mitch nods.
"I was thinking maybe keeping the dresses short, that way the girls aren't dragging sand around." He says. The lady nods and leads the girls to the back with several different dresses. While they are changing I walk around and look at the different styles. I pull out several different styles Mitch and I both like and wait for the girls to come out of the changing rooms.
First one is Esther wearing a short peach dress with off the shoulder straps and a lot of bedazzlements.

Next one out is Alyssa, in a peach high-low dress with spaghetti straps.

"Alright opinions. What do you think?"
"Honestly, I don't love them. Esther's has too many bedazzlements for me. What do you think, Esther?"
She looks at the dress in the mirror. "Honestly I would be embarrassed wearing either of these. Plus I think your dress has some embellishments."
I think about it, "True. Can we try a few others, and see what those look like." The next ones we try are Alyssa and Esther's choices. Esther comes out wearing a spaghetti strap v-neck chiffon dress with a layered skirt with a ruffle bodice.
