Chapter 25

Avi POV

Today's the day! I finally get to marry the beautiful Kirstin Taylor Maldonado and make her Kirstin Taylor Kaplan. The kids are with Kirstie's mom. I chose Kevin to be my best man. I wrote my vows while Kirstie was getting her final fitting for her dress. I decided to take one for the team and stay overnight at Scott and Mitch's Airbnb. It's down the street so they don't have to go far. I hate being away from Kirstie, even if it's for a day. Our wedding is in a few hours, so I decided to get dressed. I'm wearing a white dress shirt with jeans, which are the one that was a non-negotiable for me. Something else I wanted was to change during the reception. Mitch is with Kirstie, while Scott is here with me as one of my groomsmen. "Are you excited?" He says as his hands go on my shoulders.

"Honestly, this day couldn't get here soon enough! I thought the day the twins were born was the best day, but I think this will top it."

"How has journey to baby Kavi#3 going?"

We have been trying for a month and a half at this point. I know there are points before we declared we were trying where Kirstie doesn't take her pill and I go in unprotected. So if it happens, it happens. "So far nothing. We're just going to keep trying and if it happens, it happens."

My parents walk in the house. "Hey hunny" My mom gives me a hug. "I just saw Kirstie. She looks beautiful."

"She's happy with everything?"

My dad assures me. "She is very happy with everything."

Kirstie and I decided that I would get the first look at her dress, and we do it here. We wanted to do it somewhere where we wouldn't get guests intruding, plus at their Airbnb, they actually have a beautiful view of the beach and some greenery.

Kevin comes in, "Kirstie will be here in an hour. Are you ready?"

"I'm excited. What about you? Are you ready?"

"Honestly, I'm nervous, but excited. She deserved this from me a while ago."

Kirstie POV

I asked Kevin to walk me down the aisle. Mitch looks amazing in his suit and the girls look amazing in their dresses. The girls are wearing nude wedges. He's going to come here when I'm with Avi. My makeup and hair are done. Mitch comes over to my room, "Scott just called me. Avi keeps asking about you." I get up from my chair. "What are you doing, K?"

"I think it's time for me to get in my dress."

I put on my dress. My dress fits me perfectly. My makeup is very natural. My hair is in beachy waves. I opted out of a veil, just because of the location of the wedding. I put on my necklace and studs. I didn't want anything flashy because my ring is enough as it is.

The photographer takes a picture of Mitch and the girls helping me into the dress.

Esther looks at me, starting to tear up, "I can't believe you're going to be my sister after today! You look stunning!"
