Kirstie POV

"Are we there yet?" I ask for the hundredth time. Avi sighs. "Almost. About 30 more minutes. Are you ok?" I nod. "Yeah. Your kids just make it hard to get comfortable." I say while rubbing my bump trying to get the kicks to stop. Avi looks over at me before placing his hand over mine. Immediately the twins let up on the kicking. I smile and let out a sigh of relief. "So, I have a surprise for you tomorrow." Avi says. "And what might this surprise be?" He smirks. "That is for me to know and you to find out." "Fine......." I say while turning the radio up. For the next half hour, I sing to the radio. Right as we are fixing to pull into my mom's driveway Avi turns down the radio. "So, are you going to meet with RCA records?" I shrug. "Maybe. I just don't want to get my hopes up again, only to be turned down." "I'm sure you'll be amazing." I smile. "Thanks Dragon." He smiles and we pull up in the driveway.

"Mom I'm home." "Hey honey. In the living room." I head into the living room and find her curled up next to Bryan. "Hey guys how are yall doing?" Bryan asks. "We're doing good. Glad to finally be here." I say while taking a seat on the loveseat. While sitting there my mom shoots up off the couch and runs to the bathroom. Bryan quickly follows her and a few minutes later they come back. "Are you ok?" Avi asks worried. "Yeah. Just the side effect of being pregnant." She says with a smile. "You're pregnant!?!" I ask surprised. "I'm 1 and a half months along." "AWW!!! We're going to be pregnant together!" I say excited. "Yeah. Are yall ready to go to the family Christmas party tonight?" "Yes! I can't wait to see everybody. I have the perfect outfit." I say. "Well why don't you 2 go get ready while Bryan and I get ready also." I nod and Avi and I head upstairs.

"What are you wearing tonight?" Avi asks while I dig through my suitcase. "It's a surprise."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You look amazing tonight." Mom says while we're in the car. Tonight I Decided to wear a long maroon dress that has off the shoulder straps. Avi Is wearing his leather jacket with a black shirt and some jeans. His hair is in a neat bun. While in the car, I feel Avi put his hand on my bump, which is easily visible with this dress. I smile and take a picture for Instagram and Twitter. I caption it:
"He can't wait for his little blessings."
As the picture is posting, we get to the party. Avi gets out first, and then opens the door for me like a true gentleman would. I get out, and immediately I feel so much movement from my womb. I intertwine my and Avi's hand, and go into the party. Once we walk in, we sit on a couch.
While Avi and I are talking to my cousin Brianna about how we got back together, my grandmother comes up to us and gives me a hug. "Kirstie, my dear! It's so nice to see you." "You too, Grandma!" "And who is this, my dear?" "This is Avi, my fiancé." I look at Avi, and he rubs my back a bit.  "Well, Avi it's nice to have you here with us." Avi looks at me, and at Grandma and says, "It's a pleasure to be here."  She touches Avi's face, and then sees my obvious baby bump. "Kirstie, you didn't tell me I was going to be a great-grandmother!" "Grandma, I felt like it's something that I should tell you in person rather than over Skype." "What are you having, sweetie?" "We're having twins. A boy and a girl. And don't worry about us ok. We have friends that are going to help us out." "OK, sweetie. Just don't strain yourself!" Alright, so that went better than I thought. And on top of that, I feel this big weight lifted off my shoulder. I was so nervous about how my grandma would react.
"Alright everybody gather in the livingroom. Time to hand out gifts." Grandma says from her seat. Everyone piles in and son everyone has a pile of gifts, even Avi has a few. The first gift open in a beautiful bracelet from Brianna and her husband. I open the rest of my gifts and they consist of books, gift cards, and a few pairs of shoes. I look over at Avi and see him smiling at something in his lap but can't tell what it is from all the wrappings, so I stand up and walk over to him. "What have you got there?" "Part one of his gift. Now open your first part." My mom says while handing me an envelope. I open it up to find a blank check. I look up at Mom and Brian confused. "Brian and I have been talking and decided we want to pay for your wedding dress, if you'll allow us." I gasp and look at her with tears in my eyes. "Thank you." I stand up and pull them into a hug. "I love you both." They smile then pull back. "Now for part 2 your Grandparents helped so this is also their gifts to you 2, also." She says while looking at Avi too. We nod and she tells my cousins to bring it in. A few minutes later they come back holding a big box with a giant bow on top. Avi and I walk up to it and read the side, canopy bed. "I love it, but Avi and I have a bed already." I say while looking back at them. "We know, we just thought that whenever you two decide to move this would be perfect!" Grandma says with a smile. I go over and hug her and Grandpa along with Mom and Brian. "Now that gifts are done let's eat!" Brianna's husband, Mark, says. We all laugh and head into the dining room.
After dinner Mom calls all of my aunts into the kitchen to help her with desert. When they come back each of them is holding a cake. "Your Aunts and I were talking the other day and I mentioned how we do a happy birthday Jesus cake every year. I also mentioned how you weren't going to be here and Christmas to do the cake, so we decided that each family should bring a happy birthday Jesus cake for dessert." Mom says while setting her cake at our end of the table. My eyes water and I smile at her. "Thank you." "No problem sweetheart. Why don't you lead us in singing Happy birthday." I nod and begin singing.
While everyone is getting their cake I hear the doorbell go off. "I'll get it." I say while standing up from my seat. "How can-" I stop mid sentence and stare at the person standing in front of me. The one person who hurt me the most.
