After the ceremony, Avi and I head off to a secluded room. There we sit for about 20 minutes just talking about how our mornings went and how excited we are for the reception. After the 20 minutes, we head to make our grand entrance into the reception. From our spots just off the path, I can see where Kevin is standing with a mic.
"Please welcome the newly married couple, Mr and Mrs. Avriel Kaplan!" He yells into the mic. Avi and I link hands before running up, our friends and family clap and cheer and all I can do is smile. Since we decided to have our reception on the beach I opted to change into a shorter dress after our first dance.

Our dance was perfect. It was to the song 'Say You Won't Let Go' by James Arthur. The whole time Avi and I just whispered sweet nothings to each other's ear.
Once I am changed, Avi and I take a seat in the middle of the U shaped table.

Since our wedding is so small we wanted everyone to fit at one big table. The food is served, we wanted to keep the foods simple so of course one of the choices are BBQ. While sitting I take a look around the table and my eyes land on Ben. Next to him is none other than THE Tori Kelly, I have loved her music since forever. Ben sees me looking his way and smiles at me, I smile back and make a mental note to talk to him once we eat. Close to them are Scott and Mitch who have giant smiles on their faces, right next to them are Kevin and Alyssa. Alyssa has her head on Kevin's shoulder as she takes a sip of her drink.
After eating, Kevin calls Mitch up for the maid of honor toast, but of course he brings up Scott too! "Hello everyone! I'm Mitch, Kirstie and Avi's BFF, and the man of honor. I met Kirstie and Avi, at a really important time of their lives. They had been apart for a few years. We just clicked. We could tell what the other was thinking. She was the one to convince me to go all the way with my now husband. Because of that, she and I have always had a special bond. I remember one day after her and Avi made up, I ran up to her and she basically fell on the floor. On the flip side of that, I had to act as Dr. Phil, at least for Kirstie. She revealed to me about her miscarriage with their child 5 years ago. I had to remind her that miscarriages are a real thing and can happen to anyone. Once Kirstie had the beautiful twins, she and I went on a vacation to Bora Bora, and just chilled. We were having a conversation about our lives and how insane it was about to get. Avi and Kirstie, I think your lives will be even crazier than they were before. May we raise our glasses to Avi and Kirstie. May you continue to laugh and have fun together." Everyone claps, and I hug Mitch.
