We are staying there for two days, visiting Kirstie's family in Texas, and then heading home for Christmas Eve so we can spend it with Scomiche and Kevin. So Kirstie and I will be staying in my old bedroom. I have lots of old posters up all over my wall. So we decided to bring along some pictures of us for my room. We knock on my parents door. My dad opens the door, "Hey guys!! So good to see you." He gives me a hug, and Kirstie a kiss on the cheek. I can tell he's faking something. I can talk to him later, but Kirstie and I walk in the house. We see everyone is in the living room, so we go and join them. Kirstie and I are holding hands. We sit on the love seat, and my dad starts talking. "So Kirstie, how is pregnancy treating you?" She looks at me, rather awkwardly. "Well fine I guess. The babies just started kicking a few weeks ago, I've been feeling a lot of movement over these last weeks. I've just been trying to get used to being pregnant." My mom starts questioning Kirstie. "Wait, what do you mean by that?" Kirstie looks at me, and then I started to explain. "We might want more kids besides these two." Kirstie continues, "We still need to talk about it more in depth but we want a big family. Just as long as my body allows me." My mom stares at me and Kirstie. "I need to check the food in the oven", so she gets up. My dad is just smiling. "Well, Kirstie and I are going to put our stuff in our room." We get up and I bring up our suitcase to my old bedroom. Kirstie and I walk in. "This is exactly why I need other pictures up." Kirstie looks around, and smiles, but her eyes go to the bed. She lays down, and I lay next to her. "Do you want more kids?", she says.

I think about it for a minute. "Well, I do. I've always imagined having a big family."

"How many kids are we talking here?"

"Like 4 or 5"

"AVI! Are you serious?!"

"Kirstie, what are you getting all worked up about?"

"Avi, I don't know about 5. Maybe 4 at the very LEAST, but I want a big family too. I just have one thing I request."

"What is that?"

Kirstie caresses my face, "Just let me get through this pregnancy first. Ok?"

"Ok I think I can do that." I kiss her with so much passion. She pulls away, and and gets on top of him. "Do you wanna have some fun?" I just smiled, and nodded. And then some fun did insue.

After their "fun"

Kirstie and I are sitting at the table, having dinner with my family. I start to make a statement. "Guys, I know you guys haven't always been fans of us being together. If I learned anything when you guys came over that day, I realized that you all are trying to understand our relationship. I appreciate everything you guys are doing to understand. I just hope that you can accept our relationship for what it is."

My mom looks over with a smile. "We really are trying sweetie. We see how much you and Kirstie mean to each other and we have accepted it." My Dad nods. "We also apologize if we make it awkward. We're trying to get use to the fact you two are back together." "It's alright Michael. I know it's not something easy to get use too, I'm just happy yall are trying." Kirstie says with a smile. "Well enough talk about this. I have a question for Esther." Kirstie says while looking over at her. "What's up with you and Ben? I saw you 2 seemed pretty cozy at the reveal party the other day." Esther blushes. "Does my sister have a crush on one of my best friends?" I ask with humor. "I have a feeling if I don't tell you now I won't hear the end of it, so yes I do like him. While we were at the party we were just talking and he gave me his number." She says with a small smile. "Aww!! Yall would be so cute." Kirstie says before bursting into tears. "Woah, what's wrong Babe?" I ask worried. She sniffles. "It's just so sweet that she like him. Ugh why am I crying?" She yells getting mad all of a sudden. I look over to my parents with a look of fear. They both laugh. "Kirstie sweetie calm down your scaring Avi. It's just your hormones." Mom says. She sniffles again before taking a deep breath. "That was weird." She says with a giggle. "Sorry guys. That's never happened before." "It's fine. Shelley here was worse than that with Avriel." Dad says. "Yup, I remember once crying in the middle of the store because I didn't know what ice cream to get then yelling at the guy helping me because he didn't know what kind I wanted." Kirstie laughs.

After dinner we all put our plates in the dishwasher before heading into the living room. "Alright, gift time." Esther says before handing out boxes out. "Save ours for last." My parents say. I nod and watch as Esther opens the gift we got her, gift cards to her favorite shops and a picture of her and I a few years ago. "Thanks guys. I love them, especially the picture of us." She says while hugging Kirstie and I. Next my parents open the gift we got them, A dark blue Keurig. "We were just looking at getting one of these the other day." Mom says. "Thanks you two. Now its yalls turn." I take the box that Esther gave to me and open. I gasp at what I see, new guitar. "Esther it's beautiful." I strum a few chords before getting up and hugging her. "I thought you could use a new one, especially since you've had your old one since you were 13." "It's perfect. Thanks Essy." She smiles before looking at Kirstie. "Now open yours." Kirstie opens the envelope and gasps. "What is it?" I ask. Kirstie looks up with a huge smile. "Esther somehow got me an appointment with RCA records." I give Esther a knowing look. Ben works for RCA records. "That's amazing Babe!" She nods before pulling out a few more pieces of paper. "Yes, foot rub certificates and free fro-yo certificates!" She yells. We all laugh. "Thank you Esther." I help Kirstie up and she pulls Esther into a hug. "Ok, Mom and Dad open the gift I got you." Esther says while turning to look at them and hanging them an envelope. They open it and hold up what looks like to tickets. "We're going to Paris!" Mom yells before tackling Esther. My mom has always dreamed of going to Paris. Mom sits back down and we spend the rest of the night talking about what they wanted to do in Paris.
