Dave’s POV

          He was just a little angry at Chester for starting to throw his voice away. He was so different now. It wasn’t normal. It wasn’t Chester. Mike had a day off today so they decided to do their promo pictures for Minutes to Midnight. He sighed as he drove down towards the beach where they were going to be shooting. His phone buzzed and he frowned before answering it.

          “Yea what’s up Rob?”

          “I don’t like this at all.”

          “What do you mean? I thought the beach was a great place to shoot. Of course, it won’t…..”

          “I’m fine with that Dave! It’s bringing Mike along.”

          “Well he is part of the band. No matter how frustrating he is. Chester too.”

          “I know but Chester isn’t even upset about Mike now. He’s just creepily unemotional. It’s fucking weird.”

          “What do you think we should do?”

          “Wait.”

          “That’s not an option though. By the time Mike is done with those Fort Minor guys, we’ll need to do the pictures for A Thousand Suns.”

          “I know but I hate this idea.”

          “It’s going to work out fine. We’re going to take the pictures and then leave. Nothing else.”

          “Alright. Well….ok. I’m just worried about them. Mike’s been our best friend for a long time Dave. A long time and now he’s got this person that we all have come to love married to him and he’s turning away from not only him but all of us too.”

          “That was one of the longest sentences you’ve ever said in your entire life. But I get it. It’s all going to work out.”

          “How do you know that?”

          “I promised Chester it would.”

          “Oh.”

          “I’ll see you at the beach Rob.”

          “Yep. See ya.”

          Dave sighed and hung up. He was about five minutes away from the beach and he was glad he was. He didn’t need any more phone calls. They just stressed him out. He pulled up to the little abandoned part of the beach and sighed again. He’d been doing that a lot. Brad, Joe, and Rob were already there. He smiled at them and got out of the car.
