I knew what I'd said. I knew I told Dallon that I wanted to try and do stuff with him, but I was petrified. He was so attractive and confident in the way he kissed me or gave me love bites, but I literally had to ask him to show me how to kiss his neck. I felt line a complete idiot. I wanted my first time to be with him, but I couldn't shake the uncomfortable tightness in my chest from the moment I woke up.

"Mmm good morning, baby," Dallon spoke in a gravelly voice as he woke up with me in his arms. "M-morning," I replied. He moved us so I was as close to him as possible, my head against his smooth chest. "What shampoo do you use," he asked, pressing a kiss to the top of my head. "I ordered a n-new sh-sham-shampoo bar fr-from L-Lush. I g-g-got a rose one this-th-this time," I told him. "It smells really nice," he said, grinning as I blushed. Everything was calm, and I was relaxed against him.

"I don't think I tell you how beautiful you are enough," Dallon spoke up after a quiet moment of him running his fingers through my hair. "You t-t-tell me pl-enty, Dall," I assured him, but he didn't seem too sure as he peppered kisses all over my face. "Come on, B. Let's go downstairs to see want the family's plan is for the day. Spring Break won't plan itself," he suggested. It was then that I remembered that it was the start of Spring Break, and the day before, I'd basically asked if we could have sex. My heart dropped to my stomach.

Dallon noticed my sudden change in mood. "B, are you okay," he asked hesitantly. I shook my head and went to get out of bed, but he pulled me back in and moved so he was hovering over me. "What's wrong, Brendon," he asked me seriously. I went to shake my head again, but he gave me a look that showed that he knew I was lying. "R-re-remember what I-I um asked you a-about y-y-ye-esterday?" I was speaking as quietly as I could, hoping he'd not be able to hear me and would ignore the issue. "About my family being out of the house?" I nodded and felt my face reddening. "We don't have to do anything that you don't want to do, Bren. You know I'd never be upset with you about that," he promised. I bit my lip, wanting to tell him what I was thinking, but I was too scared.

"What is it, B? You can talk to me." I squeezed my eyes shut and spoke quickly. "I-I w-w-want to t-try w-ith you, b-b-but I'm scared th-that-that I-I'll m-m-mess ev-everything u-up." He just leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to my lips. "You won't mess anything up, I promise. If you want to try it out later, we can, and we can stop if you get uncomfortable, okay?" I nodded and put my arms behind his neck to pull him down for another kiss. Maybe things would be fine.

In the evening, probably around 5pm, Mrs. Weekes made her way over to where Dallon and I were on the couch. We were watching Ghostbusters even though it was the middle of March. "We're going to head out. We'll be back around 10 because we're taking Al out to dinner. We left money on the counter in case you boys want to order pizza," she said sweetly. Dallon and I both looked up to see the whole family standing by the front door. "Thanks, Ma," Dallon said. "Thank y-you, M-M-Mrs. Weekes," I spoke. She smiled at us and gave each of us a kiss on the top of the head. "Love you, boys. Be good," she called over her shoulder as they all went out the door.

I looked over at Dallon only to find that his gaze was resting on my face. I quickly turned back towards the television and changed positions. I only noticed that my leg was shaking when Dallon put a comforting hand on my knee. "Do you remember what I said earlier," he asked, breaking the tense silence. I nodded. "We don't have to do anything if you're not ready," he assured me. I nodded but found the remote and paused the movie. "C-c-can y-ou k-kiss me," I asked him in a voice just above a whisper.

Dallon leaned in and connected our lips. It was similar to the way we had kissed the day before, but I could tell that he was holding back for me, which I really appreciated. His hands were resting on my hips, rubbing circles over the fabric. He kissed over my jaw and smiled against my skin as I shivered under his touch. I knew I was still shaking and hoped that Dallon wouldn't realize. "Just relax, baby. I've got you." He moved his lips to my neck, sucking on the sensitive skin, and I let out a stuttered breath. I felt Dallon laugh softly, and I felt myself smile at that too. He was the only one to make me feel this way.
