"Oh my goodness, who is calling?"
I'm running to catch the bus with my messy hair and untied shoe laces. Just as I was about to catch the bus, the door closes and leaves.
"Come back! I'm still...here."
*ring* *ring*
I pick up the phone.
"Who is this? What do you want?" I put my hand on my head.
"Is this how you talk to your mother?"
My eyes widen and I quickly made a slight gasp.
"Mom? Whose phone are you using? I don't recognize the number."
"I'm using your new fathers' phone. I'm checking to see if it works, and your phone number was the one that I remember."
"Mom, can you not call Adam my new father? It sounds weird and plus you haven't even gotten married yet."
"Whatever. Hurry and comeback. We miss you. The wedding is in three days and I really don't want you to miss it. The whole family is going to be there and you better dress to impress. Remember, it's at Springmaid Hotel, don't be late. Anyways, I love you. Bye."
"Bye..."
Wedding? This is like her second time and she's still excited? Whatever. I need to catch a cab or another bus.
