Episode 15

*hospital*

I opened my eyes and looked around. Where am I? Did I die? My skin itches.

*door opens*

I look at who it is.

*Liam enters with a bouquet of roses and sets it on the side table*

"Liam? Where am I? What happened to me? Why are you here?"

*Liam smiles*

"You're at the hospital. You collapsed due to your allergic reaction back at FloralShine HQ. I was the one who brought you here. How are you feeling? The doctor gave you some shots to reduce your skin from swelling and help reduce the itchiness."

*Arissa scowls at the ceiling then looks at Liam*

"This is all your brother's fault. If he hadn't dumped the food on me I wouldn't be here. He even fired me for bringing him food, when he specifically asked for a dish with shrimp in it. Is he bi-polar? Yesterday, he was so calm and spoke to me regularly. He even cracked a joke. Today, the devil himself came to work. I..."

*Liam sits down listening to Arissa rant*

"I'm sorry, I'm getting upset. You don't have to listen to me. He's your brother after all."

*Liam lets out a big sigh*

"While you were unconscious, I talked with Zane. He followed me to the hospital."

I'm surprised he cares enough to follow Liam here.

"What...did he say?"

*rewind to Liam and Zane's conversation*

*Zane is trying to get into Arissa's hospital room*

*Liam pushes him away*

"Zane, stop it! She's not conscience right now. Even if she was awake, she wouldn't want to see you."

*Liam had knocked some sense into Zane which made him stop*

"Zane, let me ask you. Why did you do that to her? You didn't just embarrass her, but you made her lose her job and admitted to the hospital because she didn't get you fresh food with shrimp? It was already a risk for her to get the food. She had put on gloves and a mask to prevent this from happening."

*Liam raised his voice*

*Zane looks up frustrated*

"I didn't mean for this to happen."

*Liam scoffs*

"What happened to you? You were never this irrational before. Did she do something to you?"

*Zane stood there listening but also zoned out*

"When she wakes up, I'll ask her if she minds seeing you. If I were you, I would go back and give her time to calm down."

*Zane said nothing and left*

*back to Liam telling Arissa what happened*

"He didn't say anything but that he didn't mean for this to happen. He probably didn't know you were allergic to shrimp."

I'm upset at Zane but more so sad. Now I'm jobless and it was so embarrassing.

*Liam looks at Arissa in the eyes*

"Do you mind seeing Zane if he came? I know you will probably be upset, but I know he will definitely apologize properly this time. He's not a bad person, he's just..."

"I'll see him. I have some words I want to say to him as well. Don't worry, I'll be calm."

*a knock at the door*
