Episode 29

*July 7*

I rolled out of bed feeling all kinds of joy. I felt much better after what has happened. Although, today is Zane's birthday as well, I'll try to not think about it.

*TOOOOOOOOOOOT*

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

*mom, Adam, and grandpa walks in singing Happy Birthday*

"Happy birthday to you!"

"Could you guys have not done it in a much quieter way?" 

*Adam hands a gift to Arissa*

"Happy birthday Arissa."

I opened the gift and it was heart lock necklace. I opened the lock and it had a picture of my dad on one side and the other side had a picture of Adam. 

"Adam. I love it! Thank you!"

I gave Adam the biggest hug. 

*mom hands her gift to Arissa*

I opened the bag and it was a pair of custom shoes that says "I'm a rebel and I love it."

"Do you like it? This costs $2500. Don't waste it."

*Arissa laughs*

"Thank you, mom. It suits me very much! I love it!"

I hugged my mom with the widest smile.

*Arissa looks at grandpa*

"Grandpa, don't you have a gift for me?"

*grandpa smiles*

"Follow me."

*Arissa, mom, and Adam all look at each other with confusion*

I followed my grandpa downstairs.

*turns on nice classic and calm music*

"What is this?"

*grandpa opens his hand*

"Care to dance with me?"

*Arissa smiles*

"Gladly."

*mom and Adam starts dancing*

I'm dancing in my pajamas with my grandpa. 

"Thank you, grandpa. I really love this."

I hugged grandpa with still dancing. 

"Arissa, promise me. Promise me that you will be happy. I don't want it to be like before. You're my only granddaughter and I don't know how long I have."

"Grandpa, don't talk like that. I don't like it."

"Alright, alright."

*someone walks through the door*

"Are we missing out?"

I look at who was talking.

"Fiona! Liam! You guys are here."

I stopped dancing and hugged Fiona so tight she almost couldn't breath. 

"Alright. I know you miss me. I'm sorry for being really busy lately. I have a surprise to tell you."

I was so happy to see Fiona that I almost forgot Liam was here.

*Liam hands a gift to Arissa*

"Here's my gift to you."

I opened Liam's gift. It was a plane ticket to Hawaii.

"Liam, what is this?"

*Liam smiles*
