Episode 13

*Arissa comes back from her lunch break*

*Arissa and Mr. Bolvio are in the car going to a venue*

It's so weird sitting in the passenger seat while Mr. Bolvio drives. About two days ago, he seemed like he could strangle me with one hand. Now, he looks so calm and acts as if nothing had ever happened.

"Mr. Bolvio, where are we going?"

"We're going to check out a venue FloralShine is arranging. You want to be a florist, correct?"

I'm surprised he remembers.

"Yeah."

*Mr. Bolvio looks at Arissa then back at the road*

"Lucky for you, you're going to get tips from the CEO of FloralShine."

I couldn't believe it. If I get tips from Mr. Bolvio, I'll become a true florist in no time. This just made my day.

"Thank you, Mr. Bolvio. Thank you for this opportunity."

*ring* *ring*

*Mr. Bolvio checks his phone*

"It's not mine."

I checked my phone. My mom was calling. I didn't want to pick up after the hospital incident. I had sent out a text to her telling her my new phone number.

"Pick up your phone. It may be an emergency."

I picked up my phone because Mr. Bolvio had said so.

"Hello?

I tried lowering my voice and lowering the volume on my phone, hoping Mr. Bolvio doesn't hear like the previous time.

"Ari. Are you feeling better? Can you come meet me. Adam would like to have a word with you."

I was still upset with my mom. This time she called, she is demanding to see me again.

"Sorry mom, I can't. I'm working right now. Maybe another day. How is Adam?"

*Adam gets on the phone*

"Hey Arissa. It's Adam. I want to talk to you about the other day. Can we meet today? I promise I'll make it short."

"Hey Adam. I'm sorry but not today. I'm working right now and later tonight, I have plans to meet a friend. How about tomorrow?"

*Adam chuckles*

"Tomorrow is fine. See you then, bye."

I hanged up the phone.

*Arissa and Mr. Bolvio reached the venue.*

*the venue is decorated in many different kinds of flowers*

*Mr. Bolvio enters the venue and all staff pause their work and greeted him*

*Mr. Bolvio pointed to a corner*

"Arissa, we'll start there."

*work ended*

*Mr. Bolvio gets up from crouching*

"Alright, everyone. Thank you for coming and helping today. Get home safe everyone. This event will start tomorrow at noon. See you guys."

*everyone says good night to Mr. Bolvio*

*Good night, Mr. Bolvio."

I checked my watch for the time. The restaurant Liam sent to me was nearby.

"Mr. Bolvio, it's late so I'll get going too."

*Arissa starts walking out the doors*

"Wait. I'll send you home."

I was shocked to hear him say this. He is quite strange today, and I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

"It's okay. I'm not going home yet. I'm meeting a friend for dinner. I'll get going now."

*Arissa takes a step*

"Is it Liam you're meeting?"

I stopped. I can feel him walking closer to me. Each footsteps he took kept getting louder.

"I thought you were different. After what you said to me that night, I thought you were different. Turns outs, you are just like all the other girls."

I don't get it. Why is he getting upset? He was different this morning and now he's back to being his old self. I didn't even look back to see him. I kept walking out the door.

*Arissa arrives at the restaurant*

This restaurant seems very expensive. I hope I have enough money to pay. I looked for Liam and I see him waving at me. I walked over to the table.

"Hey, you actually came."

*Liam laughs nervously*

"Why wouldn't I come? You asked me. Well, kind of."

*Liam continues laughing nervously*

"Sorry about hanging up the phone on you. I was afraid you were going to deny my offer."

"It's fine. Should we order?"

*Arissa takes the menu and orders*

The whole time, I was thinking about what Mr. Bolvio said to me.

*Liam cleared his throat*

"So how is your first day of being Zane's personal assistant?"

I had so much to say. I didn't know where to begin. Should I tell him from start to end? Well Mr. Bolvio is his step-brother so he might stand up for him.

"It was interesting. I thought that I was going to help assist his work with him but instead I became his servant. He had his apartment password set to be my birthday. I thought it was quite strange."

*Liam chuckles*

"Are you talking about 0707?"

I was surprised that Liam also knew my birthday.

"How do you know my birthday? Did I tell you?"

*Liam smiles*

Wow. I've never seen him smile this wide before. He looks so...handsome.

"0707, is Zane's birthday."

"What?"

My birthday and Zane's birthday are on the same day? Liam can see the horrid in my face.

"I guess you really didn't know. So now I know your birthday is July 7th. I'll keep that in mind. Eat up."

*Liam and Arissa finish dinner*

"Arissa, let me drive you home."

"Sure."

*Liam drives Arissa home*
