Episode 9

*Arissa runs to a night bridge*

*Arissa is replaying the incident at the hospital*

*Arissa walks gloomily on the side of the bridge and looks down at the river below*

*stops walking*

*cries*

"Dad, are you proud of me? I said what I had wanted to say for the longest time to mom. I said what you couldn't say before. I...I wish you were here right now."

*sobs*

*ring* *ring*

*sniffles*

"Hello?"

*voice breaks*

"Ari? Where are you? Your mom called me and asked if you were with me."

"Fiona...I finally did it. I..."

*phone falls into the water*

"Shit! My phone..."

*climbs the bridge bending over with her arm stretched out*

*a man comes running*

"Ma'am! Don't do this!"

*he grabs Arissa by the waist and pull her down to the ground*

"I don't know what you are going through but suicide is not the way to go!"

*Arissa looks up at him with the most confused face*

"What? I wasn't trying to commit suicide. My phone fell into the water."

*Arissa gets up wiping her tears and sniffling*

"You shouldn't have gotten up on the bridge. What if you fell in by accident? You should be glad that I saved you. Here, I'll take you to rest."

*Arissa takes his hand off her shoulders*

"I don't know who you are. I'm not going anywhere with you."

"My apologies. I'm Liam. Don't worry, I won't hurt you, but let me help you. Please. You currently don't have a phone so you can swing by my place and use the phone there."

I was hesitant to accept the offer and I think he can tell.

*Liam takes three fingers and close them tight and point to the sky with them*

"I swear, I swear that I won't hurt you in any way shape or form. If I lie, may lightening strike me at my very spot."

I got to say. He's very convincing.

"Alright, you don't have to go that far. I was just doing the stranger danger check."

* the two walk to Liam's car*

"By the way, I told you my name. What's your name?"

"My name is Arissa. Nice to meet you, Liam."

*wind blows lightly*

*Liam takes off his brown leather jacket and hangs it over Arissa's shoulders*

"Here take this. It's a little chilly. Don't want to get sick now do you?"
