*three months after the wedding*
"Hi, is this Miss James?"
"Yes, this is she."
"Hi, Miss James. We see that you have applied for a florist position in our company, FloralShine. We have seen your resume and we hope you can come for another interview. The previous interview, we were very impressed with your resume. You are in the top five people we selected and only two can get the spot. We hope to see you next week on Tuesday at 10 am. Good bye."
*screams hysterically*
"Oh my goodness! I'm in the top five selected! This calls for celebration!"
I invited my friend Fiona.
"Ari! Congratulations! I know you are going to get the job."
My best friend Fiona has been with me since elementary school. She knows my deepest and darkest secret and has seen my true side.
"Thank you, but I don't even know if I'll even get the job. I was only selected in the top five, but that doesn't mean I'll get the job."
"Hey, we don't do that sad stuff. Look on the bright side. Even if you don't have a job, you can freeload off of me."
"I would never. I'd rather live on the streets than freeload off of you."
*Fiona taps Arissa's shoulder"
"Don't get mad at me, but why don't you just go back to live with your family? If you don't get this job, how are you going to pay for your rent? It's not shameless to go back. I think you just have too much pride to go back."
"It is shameless. My whole life I was picked on for being rich. Everything was done for me. My mom never understood me and my dad...the only one that did understand me, left me. No one in my family gets me and using that money will just make me feel guilty. Plus, my mom just got married with her new husband and she barely even talks to me anymore. I mean, it's not like she did talk to me a lot before but she called to check up on me here and there. Now, she seldom calls."
*Fiona hugs Arissa*
"Okay, well then that means you better kill it at the interview. If you get the job, I'll take you out to eat whatever you want. If you don't get the job, I'll still take you out to eat."
"Thank you Fiona."
"By the way, I heard that the CEO of FloralShine is very handsome. But he never shows his face. Those who sees his face are considered lucky. But I also heard that he's very mean. He once fired an employee without giving her another chance because she placed the flowers in the wrong cooler. You be careful around him."
"Fiona, I'll be fine. Besides, if I get the job I might not ever see the CEO."
