FAIR WARNING
CHAPTER ELEVEN
“OH MY DAYS...OH MY FLIPPING DAYS...NO...NOT MY DAMN PHONE” Shay roared, as she slammed her phone on the floor in frustration
“Calm down, Shay” Courtney advised
“Courtney man... Are you serious about that MARSHAL thing...?” Lanelle shakily asked
“I strongly think it is...” Courtney replied “I mean...It’s a bit obvious now, right?”
“For FLIP SAKE...Whoa man, why the hell is this happening, WHAT THE HELL DID I DO?” Shay barked
“You do not want me to list the things you’ve done wrong...so jam your hype” Lanelle barked back [JAM YOUR HYPE: Calm down]
“PEOPLE PLEASE” Courtney began “We won’t get anywhere by arguing. We need to stick together if we want to beat MARSHAL”
“This seems like some movie-type BS” Shay barked “For Goodness sake...I’ve been on the fence about that whole MARSHAL thing...I don’t know if it’s coincidences or not...fact of the matter is I...DON’T...WANT...TO...DIE”
“SHAY...OH MY DAYS, I BEG OF YOU...SHUT UP” Lanelle barked “Verbal diarrhoea...that’s all your giving. Court, how are we going to call Paul and his boys? How am I gonna call Dalmar?”
“We’ll just have to go to Paul’s yard”
“Is he back from wherever he was at?” Lil asked
"I think so..." Lanelle began. Suddenly, the group heard a knock at the door
"Lil...can you go get that?" Shay asked
"Huh?" Lil replied in a confused manner
"Emo chick...GO ANSWER the DAMN DOOR"
"Shay...I thought you'd be the same way, you ain't changed" Lanelle began "Lil, would you..."
"Sure" Lil rose from the bed and made her way downstairs. She opened the door
"Hey Lil" Dalmar grinned
"Hey" Lil replied. There was commotion outside, as three technicians were running from an angry mob
"What's going on there?"
"You know how the phone lines and the Internet are down?" Dalmar began
“Yep...” Lil began “Crazy stuff, right?”
“Tell me about it” Dalmar began “That’s what the mob is about. People are freaking out even worse than ever before”
“So...what brings you here?”
“I want to speak to Lanelle and Courtney. Can I come in?”
“Sure, come on in” Lil smiled, as Dalmar entered the house.
“Alright, this is definitely strange, right?” Dalmar began. He was in Lanelle’s room with the four girls
“You don’t say...” Shay stated in a sarcastic tone
“I really think a great deal that MARSHAL is the cause of this. Well...it’s a bit obvious now”
“Trust, I agree” Courtney began “The thing is...with no phone and no internet...How are we gonna communicate with one another”
“That’s the thing...” Dalmar agreed “We just have to probably keep seeing each other at our respective houses”
“That’s a plan...” Lanelle replied, as she ate some of her chocolate cake
