Present
"The tinsel is crooked- WAIT DONT PUT MORE-"
"Boy yoU BUILT CROOKED HEADASS,"
"LeT ME! YOU SACK OF BALLS-
"BALLS? WH- WAIT BITCH I CAN DO I-"
It was finally Christmas Eve in the dorms, all the boys went about their own merry activity; the heavenly aroma of nutmeg and warm spices gracing each and every corner of their respective dorms. Seungkwan and Minghao currently went about decorating the tall green pine that stood in a corner of the living room, some presents already littered beneath its stature. Jeonghan, drinking hot chocolate on the couch, watching the whole ordeal play out in front of him, wincing at times. He made a mental note to not pair those two together again.
Presently, the trainees were goofing off in their own little corner in the living room, entertaining themselves with some amusingly pointless crocodile game that Chenle came home with a few days ago- Jisung jumping each time the contraption would chomp down on one of his lanky fingers.
Watching the bunch, Jeonghan could almost hear the godforsaken question he asked during their last meeting ringing in his hear-
"What power are you guys hiding"
The question hung in the air, thickening the air with the familiar tensity and uneasy presence.
Jeonghan scrunched his nose, shuddering in distaste.
He once again, made the kids uncomfortable with his prodding questions.
There's a wide array of reasons as to why they couldn't answer the question, the most preeminent being that they most likely didn't know.
But that particular question had been plaguing Jeonghan's mind with the sheer fact that he doesn't know the extent of power of the people that live under the same roof as him.
That raised some more questions:
Did he ever know?
Will he ever know?
"-right jeonghan-hyung?"
Jeonghan snapped out of his daze, turning his focus to Seungkwan who stood with his hands on his hips,
"Mmhm," He simply said, turning his focus back to his cup of hot chocolate,
"HA! You hear that you tWINK HE SAID MY DESIGN IS BETTER!"
"SHUT UP FAGBAG-"
He tuned out the bickering two once again, looking down at the dark sea of liquid chocolate he held in his hands.
"Hey hannie?"
Averting his gaze once again, he watched as Joshua sat down beside him on the couch, head tilted in concern,
"Hey josh," Jeonghan basked in the warmth of his cup that warmed his hands, shifting to naturally slouch deeper into the leather couch, settling his gaze to the trainees that now obnoxiously laughed at Haechan calling Renjun "Elsa."
Joshua traced his line of sight, following in suit,
"What's wrong?"
