"So your telling me... the Circle are the ones who harbor the Starborn in the labs?"

Jaemin eyed Jeno, who had his jaw clenched, fuming, his usually easy-going demeanor taking a 180 degree turn. His eyes bore holes into the tiled floor,

He was confused as to why this bothered the elder to such an extent, maybe it was his inner moral compass being agitated?

Nonetheless, it was still odd.

"For the most part, pretty much, jeno," Jeonghan mused, going over some more files that Wonwoo handed him.

Jeno leaned against the wall closest to the table; Jisung sat on the edge of the nearby couch with Chenle, playing aimless footsies to preoccupy their restless habits; Renjun stood over Jeonghan's shoulder a few paces away, discreetly looking over the files- jeonghan could tell obviously, but he let the boy anyway;

Jaemin lazily sat on the edge of the table, Haechan following in suit but on the wall bound desk not too far from the table.

After a briefing of the topics at hand, the elders left the trainees to absorb the information as a murmur rose among themselves, and after what seemed like an eternity of the Ursula Minor members formulating some type of immediate action plan, Jeonghan started:

"Before we start explaining what's going to happen, we have to inform you all," Jeonghan's voice echoed through the hollow area, voice encased with wary and lathered precaution,

"What you will encounter in the following missions are things you've never encountered before. I know you all aren't that squeamish, but not only is it dangerous out there,"

Jeonghan's piercing gaze met the eyes of each and every trainee,

"You'll see things you can't unsee- and you'll wish you could."

Jaemin gulped thickly at this, unease residing in the pit of his stomach, the hairs lining his arms stood like an army upon his pale skin.

Yes, he already fathomed what he would have to go through as an official Ursula Minor member, out of all the trainees, he wanted to become a member the most, after all-

But he couldn't help but be a tad bit terrified.

Only a tad bit.

Ok maybe more than a tad bit.

Nonetheless, he nodded in affirmation, the rest following in suit with their lips sealed together.

Alleviated, Han exhaled deeply, "Okay, so we're going to send a few of you to do scouting of the perimeter around our target, but we already have a rough sketch of what the security logistics look like, enough for us to form a plan,"

"As we all know, at least now you do, we don't have much time to infiltrate their base since Wonwoo was kicked out their system- he was detected." Jeonghan shuffled the files, uniforming them in front of him mindlessly,

"As it is a liability, it still works as a blessing since their systems are getting shut down, giving us the upper hand of surprise, but at the same time, the weakness of a time limit-"

"Meaning that we have 72 hours tops."
The predisposed hush loomed over the heads of the 12 boys, brains storming a collective tsunami among the uncomfortable tranquility of the room,
