It is Friday October twenty. This year felt so long. A lot has happened in the forty two years that past. A long history has passed in the years. These events had made history, just like WW1 and WW2.
In the year 2001 on September 9, a terrorist attack happened in New York. In 2019, these games that happened where it's not an ordinary game. They're called the "killing games." around twenty kids lost their life, and only four survived. Apparently, they were all in a class together for two years, and it all happened at White Rock.
One year later, in 2020, a virus broke free from China called, Covid-19, or Coronavirus. It wiped out half the population in China, and quarter of the world's population. A rapper and a basketball player died, WW3 nearly broke out from the U.S President, Donald Trump. He fought with Iran and Iraq.
In 2025, the year before I was born and the rest of us, there was a mass killings where the police couldn't find out who killed families. Three years before that, it happened until three were caught. Apparently, the killers took three years off until they started up again. To this day, no one knows who they are and where these mafias are.
Thinking about all of these events, it is only six and sevens years before we were born. Being in grade twelve, it felt so long since we were born, but really it's not. I sat at the back of the class listening to Mr. Chronic explain all these events.
It's sad thinking about these horrible, tragic events in the years before us. I almost started to cry at the subject. I took notes in my purple, sparkling notebook as we are having a pop quiz next week and a test on this in a couple of weeks.
The bell rang for lunch as I finished up my notes. I packed up and left the room. Shoving my books inside my packed, claustrophobic locker, I grabbed my money and walked down to the cafeteria where I met my friends. Hudson and Mason have now joined our group of friends, with Melody, Justin, and Jane. Kristy still hasn't answered our phone calls and messages. We are starting to worry and soon would be calling the cops. We're even thinking about that today. We care for her, I care for her. Kristy and I have been friends since grade five when we both were in Mr. Kolody's class for two years.
We stuck together throughout the years. Sitting at our usual table with our food, we talk about the factors of what may have happened to Kristy in the past week.
"Here's what we've got," Melody searched through her pocket for a pen and paper. Writing down the factors starting the obvious one.
"Okay, Saturday, she was a-okay. Kristy was like herself and not off in any possible way. That whole week last week, she was completely fine. No worries."
"I have something to add. On Saturday after we left, she called me to go for a cup of coffee when she noticed a shadowy figure was in her home. We did meet for coffee and Kristy told me what happened. I then told her that I heard laughing. A child's screachy laughter. I don't know if that's what's got to do with Kristy's "disappearance," or she's just not answering her phone, which is not like her."
All shocked, wide eyes were on me as I explained her weird behaviour on Saturday. "Anything else you would like to say to us or is that it?" Justin asked. "I feel like there's more to that then it means the eye."
Giving a sigh, I told them from Saturday after we left Kristy's place, to when Mason came over and we played Charlie, Charlie. I explained everything how hearing those laughs were my fault and how I didn't say goodbye, but I don't know how it has to do with Kristy. I told them how bloody, red eyes show up in my room at night. What I didn't say is how Hudson and I want to kill someone for the devil on Tuesday.
After my explanation, Melody, Justin, and Jane had questions for the three of us. Mason stayed quiet until he was asked for a question. It took the whole lunch for this. Throwing away my food, I walked down to my locker to grab my things.
