My alarm buzzed right in my ear. Smashing it off, I roll out of bed moaning at the earliness. Getting dressed for the day my phone rings.

"Hello Kristy."

"Hey Hailey. I'm glad everything is back to normal. I can't wait to get back to school and see everyone again."

"Same. Hey listen I have to go but I will see you at school."

"Okay bye."

"Bye."

Clicking off, I ran downstairs with my bag on my shoulders. My mom is in the kitchen cooking breakfast while my dad is sitting on the couch watching the news. "Morning mom, dad."

"Morning honey."

"Morning Hailey."

"How was your stay?" my mom asked.

"I have to say, it was . . . interesting."

"Tell us all about it."

"After school, I have to go. Don't want to miss it." Taking an apple, I packed my lunch real quick, kissing them goodbye leaving the house.

After what happened last night, I don't have to be afraid anymore when going out. Although it will haunt me for the rest of my life, at some point I won't have to worry about it anymore. I met my friends at school as they waited outside. As more and more students, and eventually staff, poured into the school grounds we skipped off to class. It was good to have the group back together. Walking down the halls to our classes, Lizzy popped from around the corner.

"Even though you saved the world, you still aren't popular like me."

"Can it, Jones," I hiss.

Even though we may be nice, we still have our fierceness in us. That's the one thing that we didn't lose. Walking into the classroom, I sat down in my usual spot being prepared for class.

During lunch, we spend our time in the cafeteria talking. "Hey Justin, can I talk to you?" I ask. "Sure."

We walked outside into the halls where it feels like a ghost town.

"So . . . you might know that I said we could just be friends, right?" he nodded. "Well . . . since we've been in the cell . . . I have developed feelings for you unexpectedly. I was wondering if . . . oh I don't know . . . maybe take this relationship to the next level?"

I'm full on prepared for rejection as I've rejected him many times. He stayed quiet for a moment. Then a small smile appeared on his wonderful face. "Sure, I'd love to."

I let out a sigh of relief that I didn't even know I was holding. "Oh thank goodness, I thought you'd say no because I rejected you an-"

I was cut off by him kissing me. It was a nice gentle kiss. I returned the kiss with his soft lips. He wrapped his arms around my waist as I wrapped mine around his neck. We parted from lack of air.

"Too much?" he asked, his face turning rosie red. I smiled as my face blushed and I shook my head. He smiled and we kissed again. After parting again, I ask, "So are we, you know . . . dating?"

"I guess." We pulled apart then went back in again to sit with the rest.

Since then, we've stuck together. Seven months later we graduated from highschool to make our way into college or university. I went into schooling for being a doctor while Justin went for engineering. Kristy went to become a lawyer, Melody became an Appraiser, Real Estate, Mason worked in the underground as training new demons on the type of paranormal games. Hudson worked at the shelter for animals with Jane.

Justin and I have been dating since the day after all what happened. It's been five years and he and I got married. I became pregnant with our first child for six months. With the others busy at their jobs, we still find time to be together. Hudson and Melody got married while Kristy is currently dating someone whom I don't know of. Mason never wanted to date anyone but is happy with all of his friends, us and his demons.

Charlie still visits us monthly to check up on us, especially Justin and I since we have a child on the way. Nothing has happened since that day. Every Halloween, we get the chills that something might happen, but hasn't. We haven't touched any paranormal games since, but I still read the creepypastas.

Our horror adventure might have ended five years ago, but there is still more to come with little adventure.

"You know . . . I was just thinking. We might have ended our adventure and retired with paranormal things, but this little one will be an adventure for us," I say.

"It will be, and I can't wait."

Justin sat on the couch beside me as I curled in, resting my head on his shoulder. We watched a horror movie late at night in our cozy small home. I wasn't really paying attention to the movie, but more of how this little one will bring us an adventure.

And I can't wait for that adventure to begin.
