Melody sat in the bedroom of her crush, John. Laying naked in bed intertwined in his arms, catching their breath. They talked, laughed, and at the end, there was silence. Melody then spoke up. "I'm feeling for a second round, are you?"

"Yes I am. Just a couple more minutes before we're at it again." She nodded, resting her head on his collarbone.

"I love you, John."

"I love you too, Melody."

He rubbed her head as they relaxed for a couple more minutes before John got up and put on his jeans. "I'm going to get us a soft drink, then I'll come back back with soft drinks and a new condom."

"Okay, I'll wait here for you."

"What would you like?"

"Anything you're having, I don't care."

"Okay, shouldn't be too long."

He left the room as she grabbed her phone from the night table. Scrolling through Instagram on the homepage, the doorbell rang downstairs. Melody didn't budge as she knew that John was going to get it. Hearing the door squeak open downstairs, she heard faint voices of both men. It didn't bother her that some random stranger came to this house and bothered the moment, because John was just downstairs getting them a soft drink, and a fresh condom.

Sleeping with her crush was the best way to relax from the mountain of work she had to do this week, plus the test that will affect her in second term. Hearing the door shut, she imagined him going to the garage getting whatever he was bringing up.

The lightning flashed through the curtain, then a drum of thunder appeared above. The lamp light flickered out as Melody is now trapped in complete darkness. "Great." she said under breath. Switching her flashlight on her phone, scanning the room. A black figure hovered at the door way, blocking the only exit.

"Hey, John. Since when did you get in? I didn't hear the door open."

The shadow crooked his head to the left showing confusion. The figure moved closer, levitating off the ground, but it was hard to make out in the dark. Lighting peeked through the curtain, revealing an outline of John.

"Hey, sweetie, I'm ready. Are you?" he said, lowering his head, kissing her. Melody giggled as he thrust his finger in her. Groaning at the wonders of the fantasy. Doing it in the dark made it much more of a great time, until he repelled from her.

"What is it?" she asked.

"Nothing."

Melody noticed that his voice was a bit different, hoarse, lower than usual, and booming. She didn't think of it as wrong, just a bit sexy. The figure sat up straight, got out of bed. "What's wrong, John?" Sitting up straight having her legs dangling covering her body with the sheets. A strange growling noise came from the human figure.

Another lighting strikes, then a clash of thunder boomed above them. Melody stood up from the bed, walking towards the human figure.

"John, what's wrong?"

Concerned smacked her, worried for her lover. He gave in a growl, revealing thousands of teeth in his mouth. Melody screamed high pitched before this non human thing grabbed her by the ankle, dragging under her bed. Before she disappeared, Melody grasped the night table's leg. Trying to hoist herself up and away from this creature.

Getting free, Melody ran towards the door, but the dresser automatically moved into the door, blocking her in. Screaming, so John could hear her, but it felt useless. The figure levitated over to her, grasping her hair.

Punching and kicking air wouldn't help her, but tried to break free. The figure broke free letting her propel the dresser away. The figure stood guard wrapping his long, bony arm around her waist, yanking her back. Hitting the closet door falling to the ground, bleeding.

Melody tried to scream.

"John! Help!"

The lighting and thunder crackled to make it difficult for him to hear her screaming. Then, everything went quiet. The thunder stopped booming, the figure left and only noise was footsteps from downstairs. It has to be John.

He came crashing into the room, solving the dresser in the process, letting it fall hard on the ground. John dropped the two pops and the unopened condom on the ground.

"What happened?"

Tears fell from her eyes, sobbing as John scooped her up. Melody hugged him tightly telling him the horror story. In the end, he curled her into a comforter.

"You know what?"

She sniffed before looking up at him with a blurry vision. "What?"

"John's dead."

The voice got deeper as the body deformed itself into the tall, black shadow figure. Melody screamed as the figure screeched, grasping onto her ankle, bringing her to a very dark place, where no one can find her.
