The light shone through my eyelids. Blinking miraculously, I opened my eyes and found myself and Justin in a cell. A light bulb lit the small black room. Sitting up to get a better view of the room, one bed lay in the corner. A smooth wall behind us while the other three walls have bars.

I looked around, Justin laid asleep on the bed beside me. My eyes adjusted and found a figure sitting in bed next to our cell. Getting up I walk towards the figure. Leaning against the bars I wrapped my fingers around.

"Hello?"

The figure looked at me with a confused look, then an excited expression.

"Hailey!" It was a high pitched squeal. It took a moment for me to recognize the voice.

"Melody? You're alive!"

"I am alive! Hey Kristy, get over here."

Kristy walked over with a bright smile on her face. They both looked tattered and dirty. They've both been down here two weeks. Well more so for Kristy, then Melody came next. Hearing a grunt from behind me, I glance over my shoulder and Justin woke up confused.

"What happened?"

"Justin, we're alive and look here. Melody and Kristy are alive!"

"Along with the others," Melody replied having her hand flat and showing the people who have been taken. "Wow, they're all alive."

"How do we get out of here?" I ask.

"I don't know. We've been trying to figure that out," Kristy answered.

"Oh."

"Yeah oh. But everytime we see him he brings someone new. Hudson should be somewhere, though."

We scanned the room but we don't know where he is. He's got to be somewhere. "Can't find him," I say.

"Yeah . . . I don't know where he is. I swore I saw him."

It was quiet for a while. I sat back down beside Justin and laid back. I sighed. For the first time in a long time, is that I felt like giving up. My parents are returning in the morning and I won't be there. "My parents are returning from their business trip tomorrow morning, and I won't be there," I spoke under my breath. "Anyways, I'm heading off to bed."

"Same, goodnight."

Both ladies went to sleep as it was just me and Justin awake. It was silence and it's killing me. "Justin?"

"Yeah?"

I stayed silent for a moment before answering. "What . . . what's going to happen to us?"

Fear hit my voice real bad. I'm worried sick for everything that's going down. I don't want to die. I don't want to suffer here. Justin opened his mouth but shut it. He stayed silent and I took the answer as he doesn't know. "I'm scared Justin."

"I know you are, Hailey, I am too."

I sat up. A tear escaped my eye and wiped it before he noticed, but I was too late. He noticed. "Come here."

He wrapped his arm around and pulled me in for a hug. I buried my face in his chest and sobbed. I've never cried this much in a while. I've never felt so comfortable in someone's arms before. Justin rubbed his hand in circles around my hand to comfort me. For once in my fearless life . . . I'm actually scared.

It took a while for me to calm down. I just leaned against his shoulder where it was comfortable. Justin moved away from me to lay down, but holding his arm open for me to crawl in. right now I needed someone to calm me down, and he's the best option I have. He pulled the sheets up to cover our whole body. I leaned against his chest as he wrapped his arm around me. It didn't take him long to fall asleep.

I listened to his heartbeat slow as his sleep deepened. I tried to sleep but couldn't. My mind raced with thoughts about this situation. Soon enough my mind cleared and I fell asleep almost instantly.

Waking up the next morning, I was alone in bed. Hearing fainted voices, I turn around on my side and saw Justin talking to the girls. Kristy caught me awake and spoke.

"Morning Hailey."

"Morning," I managed to get out from my raspy morning voice. The other two glimpse this way and said morning as well. Giving them the "morning" I lied in bed a few minutes letting my mind catch up from my slumber. Sitting up in bed, I watched how Justin talked to the girls. His sudden movements in his words, his actions as he spoke, blonde locks of hair. A fun fact about him is that he was an American before moving here to become a Canadian citizen, four years ago. My heart rate began to drum in my chest. I've never felt this feeling before. It's new. I've just started noticing details about him. Maybe from last night?

Hailey, snap out of it! You are not in love with Justin! At least at this time. You and everyone else is in grave danger!

Not wanting to disturb Justin by staring at him, I moved my sight onto the girls. I just listened to the conversation between the three. In the meanwhile, I wonder what Mason is going to do?
