It's the early morning of the 28th, and I woke up, to find Alex not on the bed beside me. I look extremely worried about where he is. Alex walks in, looking tired as ever, closing the door behind him. I looked at him.
"You look extremely cautiously optimistic. Where were you?" I asked, eyeing him.
"Oh..." Alexander said as he noticed me eyeing him, "I went out for a run, as per usual. From 4 to 5:30. Normally you would be asleep around this time. I wouldn't expect you to wake up this early. But somehow you did today."
"Oh..." I replied before sitting up and getting off the bed. I walked up to him and just observed him. I'd smirk.
"What?" Alex asked, curious to why I'm smirking.
"Oh, nothing. I just need a good look and just wondering to myself about something," I replied, "You better get a shower and change. If not, I'll use the bathroom instead."
Alex looked at me and smirked, before bowing.
"Of course, Your Highness," Alex mocked me, before he hurriedly scurry to the bathroom after getting his clothes for the day. I would be hanging out at the cabinet in the room, studying every bottle.
"Hm... You really look like you need a drink," Alex stated, and I jumped slightly. Alex noticed it and he immediately looked concerned.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Well... It's just that you scared me a bit. That's all," I assured Alex, smiling at him as I wrapped my arms around him, pulling Alex closer.
"Sorry," Alex replied with a sheepish smile as he moved closer to me. I smiled. He tucked a stray strand of hair as he looked at me.
"I love you, Isabelle," Alex told me, "Since we first met fourteen years ago. I have always loved you, I am in love with you and I will always love you."
"And I you," I whispered before I leaned in and kissed him. Alex smiled as he kissed me back, wrapping his arms around me. Alex leaned back as I rested my head on his shoulder.
"I would do anything to have more moments like these," Alex told me in a quiet voice.
"Hm.... me too, dear," I stated where Alex suddenly pulled me to the window. I looked at him, confused.
"It's a beautiful morning, isn't it?" Alex asked. I look outside the window.
"Yes," I replied, smiling as I looked back at my fiancé.
"So, about the wedding..." I started as he looked at me, with a raised eyebrow.
"What about it?" Alex asked.
"When do we start planning for it?" I asked. Alex smiled.
"Don't worry. I have taken care of it," Alex replied and I beamed at him.
"Really?"
"Yes. I wouldn't concern you for the wedding dress... I have an old friend who's currently designing it."
"Oh? Can I see the design then?"
Alex thinks for a moment.
"Hm... No, I'm afraid not. It's a very close guarded design, dear. I asked him the same question, but he wouldn't let me."
I nodded, pouting slightly.
"Alright. Do we know when the wedding date is?"
"No... with everything is going on right now, I'm not so sure with myself anymore."I gently get Alex to look at me using my hand. I have never seen him so uncertain and so unsure before.
"Hey... It'll turn out alright," I said gently. Alex touched my hand on his cheek and smiled. But the smile never reached his eyes.
"Yet... It's not," Alex said gently before sighing. Then he looked out of the window, into the distance. I rest my head on his shoulder, with my arms wrapped around his, just reassuring him that it will be alright.
The rest of the day would consist of us fulfilling our duties, as we don't talk about the incident this morning.
