Dear Diary,
Four dates since March had started yielding a mix of emotions: 1st, 11th, 16th, and, yesterday, the 18th. Besides the beginnings of meat rationing on the 11th, everything else brought the mix of emotions pertaining to the events of the 1st, 11th and yesterday. The 1st concludes with Hitler directing his generals in planning the invasion of both Denmark and Norway. Through Winston and his possession of the copies of highly confidential papers from Hitler's government, Douglas, Winston, King Francois and I had discussed the next plans for the protection of the Danish and Norwegian peoples, and to utilize Regius Obligatus in some extent in regards to espionage, among other things that require attention, such as the continuation of observation. The 16th concludes in the first British civilian casualties in Scapa Flow due to a German air raid. Winston, Douglas, the King and I had discussed how we should proceed, which includes the fact that Regius Obligatus should study the air raid, due to fears that there will be inevitable German air raids across Britain in the future. Finally, the 18th consists of Hitler and Mussolini meeting at the Brenner pass, located on the Austrian border. Confirmed sources from Absconditus Custos that Mussolini agreed with Hitler that Italy will enter the war at an opportune moment. Again, there were discussions between Winston, the King, Douglas and I, as well as private conversations between Douglas and I in regards the whole situation of the war as a whole. We all agreed that the war is far from over. It is just the beginning as there are more than dire events to come. With that in mind, I did manage to look around in Alexander's office to find a binder, with the title in his blocked letters: SCENARIOS FOR BRITAIN. I had a glance over it, and of course, there was a table of contents depicting the different scenarios for Britain during the war and how Regius Obligatus should react to it, as there are a couple of different options and consequences that go with it. Neat.
Since Alexander died, there had been a lot of commotion besides Regius Obligatus's continuation of devotion to serve the nation, now undetected by Hitler and his government. It's like Regius Obligatus has somehow gone underground, resulting in a more... dangerous and more resilient. There are reasons for me to believe that every single member of Regius Obligatus takes Alexander's lessons and the inspirations that he has given to them ever since 1925 and put them to use since 3rd of October 1939. Alexander would have been proud if truth be told. Since there are a small number of people who know that he's alive, God knows what he is up to, except for Hugo. Speaking of Alexander, Absconditus Custos is seemingly operating on their own, as if it is almost an independent entity and has no relations to Regius Obligatus at all. But... for the sake of the future of survival, especially with the rapid advancements in warfare technology in this war... I do hope Absconditus Custos knows what they're doing, as well as Alexander. Yet I'm sure that he will be on top of his game, considering there is the constant emphasis of the pressure and the duty to serve being placed on his shoulders, as well as the soldiers', the members of Regius Obligatus and Absconditus Custos's, volunteers', leaders' and a number of other people to go forth and bring down Hitler's tyranny.
Douglas and I... our relationship has been put on halt ever since the war had started, despite the lack of action for Britain during the early months of the war. It was agreed between the two of us that we should focus on Regius Obligatus, and the war. Yet, of course, with Douglas, there are a couple of times that are flirtatious. I blame Douglas for that. But of course, it was what we both needed... the occasional little breaks from the war.
I'm signing off now because God knows what else tomorrow brings.
