Dear Diary,

It's been three days since Alexander died, and a lot has happened since then. The junior leadership team and the heads of the departments worldwide have been spending both me and Emily telegrams, asking us questions. So Emily and I had decided to create a frequently asked questions page and send it to all bases worldwide in order to solve the more repetitive questions in mind. Which solves it.

With that in mind, it's been a whirlwind of events. Yesterday was an interesting day. Latvia signed a 10-year Mutual Assistance Pact with the Soviet Union. Emily and I had a discussion about this and we both believed that it was a very bad situation that sets up a future occupation on the Soviet Union's part. It is agreed between the two of us is the need to keep an eye on the Soviet Union, not just on Nazi Germany at this moment in time. I'm not sure where the Soviet Union will go right now since I'm not entirely sure where the Soviet Union will fall in the alliance table. The Soviet Union is in a very different political system to the rest of the world: communism. The Soviet Union could be both a friend and a foe to the world, consequently, we - as in Regius Obligatus and Absconditus Custos - must really be on our best toes watching and observing (that doesn't sound right), but you know what I mean. Speaking of Absconditus Custos... When Regius Obligatus agents sent me and Emily questions about Alexander's death three days ago, Absconditus Custos was silent. Suspicious, yes, because that gave me and Emily a sneaking suspicion that Alexander could be alive. I mean... Absconditus Custos only answers to one person and if they're silent, that means that one person is still alive. Unless it is a very good cover-up considering that one person is dead or something.

And today? Two events today both prompt two different questions to two very different situations. The first... is that the Chinese army had reportedly defeated the Japanese at the Battle of Changsha. The question here remains: Should we provide more needed attention - than the already given attention since 1933 - to the actions of all the Axis Powers now that there is increased bloodshed? No one knows how long this... war will last. It is just a matter of the events that are to come.

The second is the Polish resistance in the Polish September Campaign had come to an end. This event did not prompt a question, but what happened after... Hitler spoke before the Reichstag, where he declared the desire to restore peace in a conference with both Britain and France. Reports pouring from the German branch speaks differently. The question here is... Should both nations continue this act of charade? The act of appeasement on the public outlook is quite... decently positive, but behind closed private doors, the world of espionage spearhead the way that has been paved since 1933?

Despite myself having two different questions that stem from two different events, I believe I have come to an answer for both after the discussions with the Heads and Deputies of all branches, who are all here now in London, except for the French duo where a telegram containing the summary was sent to them.

Regius Obligatus has spearheaded the way that has been paved since 1933. We will continue to overturn the tide in this war. There will be no peace until the threat has been eradicated. God help us all in this task. Britain and France will suffer heavy blows, but they will not bow down, nor will they surrender.
