Dear Diary,
I have been talking with Alexander ever since the war with Hitler began three weeks ago. I am very worried considering that I know what he will do, and the extent to which he will die for Britain. This worry can be shared with the King and Winston. I'm not sure how Hugo feels about this. Alexander and Hugo are both the most inspirational pair that I know and I'm proud to be a friend of them.
Despite all of the war that is going on, Alexander seems to have retreated to Regillus Eques, as well as his social group, I believe. According to Isabelle, Alexander is now an enigma. But, according to Hugo, he is just taking time away from his Royal life, so to speak. Yet, that is old news.
The situation here in France is quite interesting, so to speak. Considering over the years, the Maginot line was built, and after becoming a member of Regillus Eques (I'm quite high in the hierarchy of positions), I learnt the extent to which duty to the country has played in Regillus Eques. It had made quite an impression. The fact that it can be seen through Alexander and his actions, it signifies a lot, not just to Royalty alone, but also the people across the world.
I'm wondering how both Isabelle and Alexander are doing... Thinking about what to come and what Alexander had told me, it does concern me greatly. There are talks in the junior and senior leadership teams about Alexander's next moves and what he's planning, as uncertainty runs through the course of the talks. Hugo and Alexander had yet to reveal their true plan behind the Inner War to both Winston and the King. Except for me. They had agreed that it would be safer to tell me. Of course, I do have objections, but the King and Winston's objections are far greater of a risk. It is understandable, and Alexander had told me that the King and Winston have their own roles to play in the Inner War and this war.
Although there is more for me to reflect, I must not carry on from this point. From this point on forth, the risk of... writing it down is too great. There is no need for me to burn a portion of my diary. It is much safer for me to keep the secret within me. The enemy must torture and kill me before they could have the chance to get the truth out of me.
