Dear Diary,
Everything - beliefs, and ideals to name a few - has been shaken to the core, now that the world is asking the same questions: When will the war in Europe start? What is Germany going to do? Since the information of where the war will start has spread across all the Regillus Eques branches, the international branches are preparing to notify the nations' leaders in order to aid the United Kingdom. Overall, I'm just stressing about this Inner War. Douglas and I aren't even sure what Alexander is planning. I asked Hugo, and Winston, and they can't (quite expected) divulge any information about it. With everything going on in the world right now, I don't know how Alexander managed to have a life... Although it may seem that he is stressed, those who know him best, know that Isabelle is the one who can truly calm him down. However, it seems like it's failing, to some extent? With this in mind, I - alongside Douglas and Hugo - have reasons to believe that Alexander is doing more than what is required by his country to protect the United Kingdom, than what she has asked for her people. Least of all the monarchy.
And my thoughts on the Anglo-Polish Defence Pact? I don't think it would stop Hitler from whatever he's going to do. Nor, will it stop Hitler from whatever he's going to do in the future. Everyone here has seen the destruction that Blitzkrieg has brought upon Spain during the recent Spanish Civil War. To be honest here... Everyone in the world has heard or acknowledged what Regillus Eques is. Hitler, of course, no doubt has heard of Regillus Eques. He sees it as a threat, as well as Alexander. Knowing Alexander, the Inner War is the solution to this. But, I'm getting even more worried now, thinking about the Inner War and Alexander's determination that it should be him. I'm not sure what will happen in the near future, now that war is just around the corner.
Now, I must get some decent sleep as I have an extremely early morning tomorrow in regards to the situation in Poland.
