Dear Diary,

After everything that had happened so far with the situation in Poland, the anger for Britain's leadership in this has arisen within Regillus Eques. Of course, Regillus Eques has taken a considerable amount of consideration and action under Alexander. About Alexander, I heard that he's in 'hiding'. Not sure what he is up to now since he has now an enigma. Everyone close to him - save for the exception of Hugo, Douglas, Emily, and James - seems to have been cut off from him, especially Isabelle. Myself included. Whatever he's planning... the difficulties that lie ahead in his future will be mastered as Alexander had taken up opportunities that had been presented to him.

Nevermind that. Knowing the boy all his life, he has everything under control on the surface, but underneath he might be dealing with everything, never asking for help, wanting to deal with things on his own. Yet, with all of this going on, I belong to the minority in Britain where the feeling of appeasement has grown. Appeasement is never something that I am fond of in times like these. Seeing the fact that Hitler is growing his military and doing nothing as of now is quite an experience.

As of today, everyone - leaders and civilians alike - in Europe are reeling from the fact that Germany had invaded Poland, and with the aid of the Soviets three days ago, all hopes seem to be lost. But not for Regillus Eques. Not me. There is a fighting chance against Hitler. The British people - under the right administration and government - will fight on to the end, and they will not retreat from this growing tyranny. Although I have some criticism against the current government and Prime Minister, nothing has greatly impacted Britain. Yet.

-Winston
