*1 week later*

After running many tests on 'Ellie Harbour' the doctors are finally able to let her to be in a stable condition, stable enough as for tomorrow she would be discharged. Alexis wasn't just lying in a hospital bed the whole time, she often spent her few days at the hospital in physical therapy. The injuries she had received the week previous really damaged her ability to walk, however it was a numb feeling that Alexis felt all the time, constantly on heavy medication.

With visits here and there from the party, Joe, Natalia, Charlie and Winona time at the hospital felt pretty quick for her. Of course, Millie was there whenever she could be, same with Hop but he also has other responsibilities to take care of. Just finishing her physical therapy, Alexis is helped onto her hospital bed by one of the nurses and picked up her song/poem journal that Hop had given to her nearly 10 months ago.

Alexis had written many songs in there already, mainly deep and meaningful ones about her own personal experiences and were always based off her life. Some of which were called, Mercy, Wake Me Up, Let You Down and I'll Try. The past few days she had been updating it, jotting down song lyrics and creating her poems into songs. Putting together one of her poems she starts to get a song.

Seems like a part of me
will always have to lose

Every single time I have
to choose

Swore that it felt right,
but was I wrong?

Is where i'm supposed to
be at all

I don't have the answers,
not today

It's like nothing makes
the questions go away

What I'd give to see if the
grass was greener

On the other side of all
i've had and lost

Would it be enough

Or would I still be
wondering?

If I could go back and
change the past

Be a little braver than
I had

And bet against the odds

Would I still be lost?

Even if I woke up in my
dreams

Would there still be
something i'm missing?

If I had everything

Would it mean anything

To me?

Glancing up at the time she sees that Millie would almost be arriving. Finishing up she names the song 'Wondering' she folds the tip of the page over to indicate that the song was incomplete. Putting her note book and pencil down Alexis finishes a glass of water as Millie walks in. The two girls smile at each other, pulling each other into a hug.

"So..." Millie says sitting down on my mattress. "How was physical therapy."

"It was good, I guess. Not much progress though." I say sighing.
