Ten: Boyfriends Lie

"Sadie are you sure you can do it?" Alexis asked to the girl who stood on her skateboard, trying to kick up a 360 pop shove.

"Yes, I can! I did it earlier, just watch!" Currently the two girls were at the Sink's house and skating around the street. Sadie was trying to show Alexis how she could do a 360 pop shove, but every time she failed which angered her because she knew she could do it. Sadie looked down at her board, kicking it up once more but this time her foot slipped on the board, it rolling and she fell. "Shit!" Alexis chuckled a little before walking over to Sadie and asking if she was ok. "Yeah, i'm good." Sadie smiled at her, the two girls turned around to get the board but stood confused when they saw Millie there, picking it up and walking over to them. Alexis and Sadie were both really surprised as they both knew Millie was supposed to be hanging out with Finn... and Millie never missed out on that.

"Hi." Millie said quietly.

"Hi?" Sadie said, furrowing her eyebrows and taking the board from her.

"What are you doing here Soph?" Alexis asked, genuinely confused as to why she was there.

"Can we... talk?" She said awkwardly glancing between the two girls. "The three of us?" The ginger looked over at Alexis almost as if she was asking for permission, kindly Alexis  smiled and nodded. The three girls walked back up to the porch and into Sadie's house, then into her room.

Alexis and Millie sat on the end of the bed while Sadie paced back and forth as Millie told them what was wrong.

"And he said, he- he missed me. And then we just hung up."

"He's a piece of shit." Sadie blurted out which made Alexis giggle, Alexis would agree but she loved the guy, even if he was a piece of shit most of the time.

"What?" Millie asked.

"Finn doesn't have jack shit to do today, and his nana obviously isn't sick." She explained.

"I guarantee you- he's playing nintendo right now." Alexis adds.

"Nintendo?" Millie asked, everyone was into games but her.

"A gaming console." Alexis replies.

"Oh, ok. But friends don't lie." Millie said innocently. This made Alexis sad as Millie clearly trusted Finn and he must have really hurt her by lying.

"Yeah, well, boyfriends lie. All. The. Time." Sadie said seriously then moved over to sit next to them on the bed. She looked at Millie straight in the eyes, making Alexis feel slightly uncomfortable. "You're going to stop calling him. You're going to ignore his calls. As far as you're concerned, he doesn't exist."

"That's a little harsh, don't you think?" Alexis said, only to be ignored.

"Doesn't exist?" Millie repeats who leaned closer, interested by what Sadie has to say.

"He treated you like garbage. Now, you're going to treat him like garbage. Give him a taste of his own medicine." Sadie continues as Alexis scrunches up her face, knowing this was definitely not the right way to go about this situation. However she let it play out as it was somewhat entertaining and she loved watching Sadie go on rants.
