The final two periods had gone by in what felt like 15 minutes for the party, both Alexis and Millie happy that it had ended but the two also felt lost. It was a surge of happiness too, the pair barley remembering the last time they went to school, let alone looking forward to the last day. At the same time, they longed to have something to look forward to, each day. Even if it was boring, old school. Saying goodbye to everyone only to see them in a few hours Alexis and Millie decide to walk home.

"Well..." Millie starts, as she glances over at Alexis with a somewhat proud smile on her face.

"I can't remember the last time we finished school. The times when we were excited to finish, be able to stay up later and hang out with our friends everyday." Alexis says.

"Mhmm, I cant help but wonder what they are doing, you know." She pauses. "Tia and Kasey and all that, like do you think that they are happy, living a good life?" Millie says, trying to imagine what life would be like if none of their shit happened- which was actually pretty hard.

"I hope they are... they deserve it." Alexis pauses a second to think, wondering how she could get her emotions out into words. "I wish I could just see them, not even speak to them... just. I don't know, check up on them." Alexis sighs, she too wondered where she would be right now if she has a normal life.

"Me too," Millie perks up. "what if we searched up their instagrams or names or something online?" She says a little too enthusiastically.

Alexis kicks a rock and sighs. "Should we? I mean, it's so easy... but. Is that what we really need right now?" Alexis questions, she thought that they were finally in a good place, not having to worry about what happened in their past life. She also thought that it wouldn't help her PTSD either. However the thought of seeing their childhood best friends excited her, wanting the feeling to see them again- to run up to them and give them a big hug screaming 'we're ok' just to reassure them. Alexis knew that would never happen, so she tried to not overthink that situation too much.

Millie stutters and stops in her tracks, Alexis stops too. The girls face each other. "I, uh. I don't know, I don't know." Millie starts, trying to see it from her younger cousins perspective as she thought Alexis would've been jumping at the thought of their old friends. "But I know that I want to see them as much as you do." Millie says, pulling out her phone, sighing.

"Mills..." Alexis says warily.

"Who do we search first?" She says, opening instagram and clicking on the search bar, waiting for Alexis to chime in.

"Can we sit down?" Alexis says, "I need to sit down to do this." The two girls move and sit on the side of the road. "Well... who's most likely to have a public account?" Alexis asks, trying to think about her friends personalities and wondering how outgoing they would be.

"Kasey? Maybe." Millie suggets, Alexis leaned over and watched as Millie types in the words Kasey Fletcher and clicks on the first account that pops up... it was definitely her.

"I-" Alexis stutters as Millie sighs, there's a picture of the cousins on her account,

"I miss you babies, so, so much." Millie reads the caption, clicking on the comments, they see it filled with their friends saying things like 'I love them' 'miss them so much' 'are you ok? I miss them too'. The two girls both have tears I know their eyes,
