Katniss's POV

Today is there last day of training Sky hasn't said a word about the career's since she talked about joining them. Auden has talked about them but not much. Myla and Roy have teamed up with districts 4 and 7 so we are also working with districts 7's mentor Johanna Mason. Peeta and I have been trying to get Sky sponsors along with Roy and Myla. Haymitch says it's best to wait until we get there scores to get sponsors. I wonder what made Sky change her mind about joining the careers. I might talk to her to figure out her strategy is. "Katniss" I hear Haymitch say. I break my thought and look at him. "You okay sweetheart?" "Yeah I was just thinking" I reply soon the tributes come to eat. "So tomorrow you will be scored based on your performance you give to the game makers," Haymitch speaks up. "There will be knives, Spears, Bow, and arrow, and other things make sure to use them if you are good to get a good score," Peeta says "What if it's not good enough?" Sky speaks up."Well it will be nobody has ever got a 0 so you have nothing to worry about." Haymitch says
After Dinner, everybody gets ready for bed except for Sky who is sitting in the living room quietly. I decide to go talk and tell Peeta to met me in my room and that I would be there soon. I walk over to her and sit next her I can hear her crying. "Hey what's going on?" I say in a calm voice. "Not- nothing." "I know something is wrong just tell me I can keep it a secret if you want," I tell her she looks up at me and say "Primose you won't tell anyone not even Peeta or Haymitch?" I nod my head. "I wanted to team up with Auden after realizing what would happen if I went with them and so I told him it was me or the games. He chose to be apart of the career pact." She says with tears in her eyes. Before I can say anything she speaks up again "And I love him!" This shocks me a bit but I don't really know what to say. "Hey, it's okay. The first time Peeta told me he loved me was during the interviews and I hated him for it at first. But then he saved my life in the arena and we slowly grow closer. That's why we threatened to eat the nightlock. " I tell her "Do you still love him?" She asked me which made me realize that I haven't told Peeta I loved him. "Yes very much" I reply "But have you told Auden how you feel?" I ask her and she shakes her head no. "Then tell him and he still doesn't love you the way you love him then he doesn't deserve you." I tell her "Thank you Katniss. For everything" She says pulling me into a hug. "No problem but you should head to bed. You have a big day tomorrow" I tell her. "Alright, goodnight then." "Goodnight," I say walking back to my room. I then curl up next to Peeta and start to drift off into sleep but then I feel his strong arms around me and I know I want to tell him. "I love you Peeta," I tell him softly. "I love you to Katniss" I then drift off into a deep sleep with no nightmares

Sky's POV

I have really thought about Katniss's advice last night before I fell asleep. I might ask Haymitch for more advice or even Peeta. I wake up to Effie Knocking on my door yelling at me to get up she comes in and turns the light's on which gets me right up she then goes to go the others up. I decided to put my hair in my favorite bun I learned to do a few years ago. When I walk out to breakfast we eat and talk about what's going to happen today. In only 2 days we will be in the arena fighting for our lives. "So they will call your names one by one and because we are district 12 we go last." Peeta says "Each one of you will show your skill and then they will dismiss you" Katniss adds "What did you do last year?" I ask her she looks up and smirks "I shot an arrow at there food" I look over and Haymitch and Peeta are trying not to laugh. "She did pretty great and got an 11," Haymitch says. "Woah," Auden says "That's part of how she got the nickname girl on fire," Peeta says. We talk as we finish eating and then go and change into our outfits and are hurried out to the training floor where we wait until we are called in.
