Katniss's POV

When we arrive at the view box Peeta and I sit next to Finnick and Annie. "Hey guys," Annie says in a calm voice. "Hey Annie" I reply. "So have you learned any information about your tributes?" Finnick asked. Peeta and share a quick look and then I speak up. "Well we learned that Sky talking and training with the career pact," I say kind of nervous which catch's their attention. "Woah that's good and bad," Finnick says with a serious look on his face. "She came back and said she had been talking with them and then she told us she is going to join the career pack," Peeta says. "It means she has a good chance of going far but one wrong move she could die. Also, it means when it's just them and she still alive their going to go after her." Annie says with a serious tone. "We just don't know if we should let her join them or if we should talk her out of it," "Just wait until it's close to scoring to make sure no more of your tributes join and if by then you can't talk her out of it then just let her be," Finnick responds. "Thanks for the advice what about your tributes are they joining the career pack?" I ask "No they have been trying to figure out the best strategies to survive and then try and recruit other tributes. They have been talking about having Roy join them along with Myla," Finnick says.
After a while, we go to get some lunch with Haymitch and talk about Sky. "So what did Finnick and Annie tell you?" "They told us it's good and bad," Peeta says going on about what they said.

Sky's POV's

Auden and I have been talking with the careers. I talked them into letting Auden in because of his knife-throwing skills. When got to lunch we sit with the careers and talk about strategy for the games. "So you two are now in the career pack and most every year we win and bring pride to our district. So what is your best skill?" Butch says from district 1. I am about to say knife throwing but instead, I say "Bow and arrow" I know I am lying but Haymitch said not to show our special skills until the private session. I am using their advice but I don't think I will win that way so I am teaming up with the careers. "What about you Auden? What's your skill?" Says Zedd the boy from 2. "I am good with a spear," Auden why did you say that I know you are good with a spear. After lunch, I go back to the training center and Before Auden can go-ahead and join the careers I pull him aside. "What?" "What do you mean what you are not supposed to show or talk about your special skills until the private session," I say angrily. "So? Our mentors won't know besides they are the careers we will win anyway," he replies. "No, because after talking to district 4 they said, in the end, they go after the weakest of their pack and split up and fight to the death." Auden just walks over to the careers ignoring me but I have made a decision.

Haymitch POV

While watching the careers with Sky and Auden it makes me mad but then I see sky pull Auden to the side and I go get Katniss and Peeta. "Katniss, Peeta you'll want to see this." "What is it Haymitch?" "Look," I tell them we watch as Sky and Auden talking and then to see Sky walk away from Auden and the careers. I can't believe Auden joined the careers and Sky left them. "That's going to make her higher on their kill list," Peeta says. "I know, we just have to hope she can get sponsors" I reply
After the training is done for the day we head to our floor and try to think of ways we can help Sky and the others get sponsors. Luckily were team up with district 4 Finnick and Annie for Roy and Myla. Auden is with the careers so we don't need to get a lot of sponsors for him but Sky is on her own so we really have to try and get her sponsors. Soon enough the tributes are back and they each go change. "Hello Haymitch," Effie says flirtatiously. I go up and kiss her right on the lips and we stay there. "Were right here you know?" Katniss says with Peeta's arm around her. I break away from Effie for a second "Sweetheart I know you are but would you rather see me drinking or Kissing Effie sober?" Effie laughs at this. "Carry on then" She replies walking to the living area dragging Peeta with her. "Now where were we," I say going to kissing Effie. "What the heck are you guys doing?" I hear a voice I turn around to see Roy standing there. "Don't tell anyone and leave acting as nothing happened," I tell him. "Okay only if you help me by telling me where Sky is." He replies "She's in her room." I tell him and he leaves promising not to tell anyone.
