It was an early Winter morning, only a few days had passed since the young Earl's birthday. Ciel was now eighteen, tall, slightly muscular. Truth be told he looked the same as he did only a few years ago other than his height.

The blue haired male was in his study at the moment, busy as always. As he took a sip of his Earl Grey there was a knock on the door. Sebastian walked in a moment afterwards with a letter in hand.

"Young master," The butler spoke with a bow. "A letter from Lady Elizabeth." He said, handing over the letter.

"First she misses my birthday.. Now this? What could be going on?" Ciel muttered to himself as he opened the letter.

"Dear Ciel," The male read outloud, "I am terribly sorry for the other day. I've been out of town up until yesterday and I couldn't make it back to you on time. I promise I will make it up. I'll be paying you a visit later tonight. "Love, Lizzy."

He sighed, tossing the letter aside. As the two had grown, it seemed they slowly began to spend less time together. The both of them had gained many admirers, Elizabeth had even had a handful marriage offers. To be honest, he missed her.

Elizabeth had always been beautiful, with her golden hair, emerald eyes, her porcelain skin. It had been months now since they'd last seen each other. It had been so long--Too long since they had actually spend time together. Hopefully tonight would be different... Maybe there would even be a spark of romance.

Between the company and his job for the Queen, Ciel was simply too busy to interact with anyone including his betrothed. Hoping for the best, Ciel stood.

"Sebastian, prepare me a suit for tonight. It has to be special, tonight will be special."
