~ELIZABETH'S P.O.V.~
I had stormed off while I had the chance, leaving my fiancé behind. I paid for a hotel at front desk then made my way up the staircase.
Once in my room, I shut the door and took a seat on my bed. I immediately took off the necklace he gave me, setting it to the side of me. It was time to think things through. Before another thought could pop into my head I felt a few warm tears start to stream down.
I hate fighting with him. I hate the fact that the both of us are stubborn. I hate crying. I hate the fact that I'm spending Christmas crying in a hotel room. I mean we're still fighting over the stupidest things. I hate how just earlier we were saying "I love you," and not arguing.
As I cried into my hands there was a knock on the door. I sat there for a moment, trying to decide whether or not I would open it.
"It's me...Hantai. I'm staying at the room next to yours. I saw you walk in here. Lizzy?" He said through the door.
After shoving the necklace in my bag and taking a moment to control myself and finally stop crying, I walked to the door.
"Hi, Hantai. Please, come in.." I said with a fake smile, stepping aside to allow him in.
~THIRD PERSON P.O.V.~
"Are you alright? Things with your fiancé didn't seem very well, you don't have to explain. I understand if this situation is too personal." The male blonde said after taking a seat on a couch nearby, the girl following shortly afterwards.
"I'm fine...I just-I hate the fact that we're both stubborn, it leads to arguments. I don't like fighting with him, I hate it." She responded with a sigh. "I just want to settle things between him and I. Being engaged shouldn't be like this---"
Elizabeth was cutoff by the sound of a knock in the door. Before Elizabeth could stand, Hantai was already at the door, opening it.
It was, of course Ciel. This certainly looked bad. Another man opening the door of his fiancée's hotel room!
Ciel stared at Hantai for a moment, rage building up inside of him. "Where's Elizabeth?" The Earl questioned, his fists balled up at his sides.
"She's in here, on the bed. I'll go get her if you'd like." Hantai replied with a smirk. Though nothing had been going on, Hantai didn't like the idea of Ciel and Elizabeth together. Ciel had come off as rude.
Hantai's reply earned him a punch in the face.
Elizabeth was at the door now, standing beside Hantai. "Ciel, it's not what it looks like." She said truthfully, stepping out of the room and into the hallway with Ciel.
He scoffed, shaking his head slightly. Without a word, he walked away. He felt hurt, like if someone had punched him in the gut while plunging a dagger through his heart. Just the thought of someone else touching his fiancée angered him greatly.
Hantai excused himself, heading to his hotel room.
Elizabeth's emerald eyes filled with tears. Oh no. She knew how bad this looked... Ciel had just seen her with another man in her hotel room.
The blonde rushed down the hall, making her way to Ciel. "Ciel, wait!" She caught up to him after a moment, tears rolling down her cheeks. She called out for him again, but he continued to walk, speeding up his pace.
"Please, just hear me out." Elizabeth finally stopped him, now standing in front of him. "Listen to me. Please."
Ciel sighed, not looking at her. "What do you want?" He snapped, now at a stop.
"Ciel, I know that looked bad back there. But I promise you, I love you and only you. I would never cheat on you, I would never be unfaithful. He just happened to be staying here with his family. He saw me head in here and wanted to say hello...You mean the world to me, so please, don't walk away from me, Ciel." She took both his hands in hers, trying to hold in her tears.
"Elizabeth.." He sighed sadly once again, still not meeting her gaze, his focus on their hands. "We had one night together. We had only had one night of something we called love. How do we know it's real? How do we know our so called 'love,' is real? How do we know that in the end we won't just let each other go? How do we know that this will be worth it in the end?"
"Ciel, don't say that." She took a pause, lacing their fingers together. "I love you, I really do and know it. I know our love is real. I know that this is worth it, your worth it. I couldn't imagine my life without you." Elizabeth gave his hands a small squeeze, crying softly. "I love you..." She said with a broken voice.
Ciel finally met her gaze, smiling faintly at her. He loved her, he loved her more than words could explain. He hated seeing her cry, it hurt his very soul. But he had to make her hate him.
I'm not good enough for her, she deserves someone better. Someone who doesn't keep secrets from her. Someone who doesn't make her cry, someone that is only capable of making her smile. Someone that is worthy of that sweet smile. If she hates me then she'll be able to find someone else. Someone that will never cause her pain. He thought to himself.
He thought that if he made her hate him, if he made her let go of him, maybe when she could find someone else.
"No, what am I thinking? I can't make her think that. I love her, I could never do that to her. Of she thought that I hated her, even for a second, it would kill me." Ciel thought.
"Please, Ciel. I would never be with someone else. My heart belongs to you..." She stated, tears still pouring out of her eyes.
Ciel pulled her into a tight hug, holding her close. "I love you, and I'm sorry.. I'm sorry for making you cry, I'm sorry for not letting you explain. I'm sorry for doubting our love. I love you, I know it's real. I'm sorry for thinking that you would be with someone else. Im sorry for not realizing that I love you up until a few days ago. I'm sorry I didn't see it before. I'm sorry your spending your Christmas in a hotel room crying. I'm sorry I was ignorant and didn't just let you into that bloody shop. I'm sorry for not being there to cry with you at Madam Red's funeral. I'm sorry for everything that I've ever done. I'm sorry for all the times you've cried and I wasn't there for you to cry on my shoulder."
With his arms wrapped lovingly around her, Elizabeth held pulled him closer, crying into his shoulder. She smiled through her tears, Ciel was here and he loved her; that was all that mattered to her.
After a handful of long moments, Elizabeth stopped crying. She pulled him into a passionate kiss, her arms wrapping around his neck. "I love you and you love me, that's all that matters." She said as one final tear splashed on her cheek.
Ciel swiped the tear away then kissed her forehead. "Let's get you home. Spend Christmas with your family, your Mother, your Father, and your brother Edward."
Elizabeth nodded slightly, smiling faintly at him. "Only if you're there with me." Ciel nodded then pecked her lips in response.

Ciel and Elizabeth were soon at the Midford Estate. The rest of the day was quite simple, they had dinner, opened gifts and sat by the fire at the end.
Around midnight, Ciel pulled the blonde into a long kiss, they exchanged goodbyes then he left. Elizabeth was left wondering what their next meeting would bring.
