As Elizabeth ran a brush through her blonde hair, she nervously inhaled. Tonight would be different, tonight would be special.
She looked in the mirror, sighing while doing so. Today she looked different to say the least. Her hair was down for once, falling straight and loose over her shoulders. A light shade of pink lipstick was smeared on her usually pallid lips, just barley noticeable. She wore a purple and black dress for tonight, unlike her usual style. Hoping Ciel would like her choice of clothing for today, she made her way downstairs.
"Lady Elizabeth, your carriage awaits," Paula informed her, smiling lightly. "I do hope you enjoy yourself today."
The blonde smiled in return, giving her maid a simple nod. "Thank you, take care for the night."
Elizabeth had to admit that she was nervous. She couldn't remember the last time that she had seen her fiancé other than having tea for brief moments every now and then. "I'll see you soon, my love...." The teen muttered to herself before making her way to the carriage. Filled with Hope and joy as usual, she was soon on her way to see her beloved.
Upon arrival Elizabeth was greeted by the staff, Sebastian included. "Lady Elizabeth, the young master will be out in a moment. He wishes for you to head to the garden by the roses, he'll be out shortly." The butler told her, leading her to where instructed.
"Thank you, Sebastian." She smiled lightly as he left, leaving her alone in the garden.
She paced nervously, a million different thoughts running through her head. Elizabeth inhaled deeply, taking a seat on a nearby bench.
'What if he's too busy for me? What if he's lost interest? What if he doesn't want to see me? What if he's angry with me?' Thoughts of worry plagued her mind as the minutes passed. 'I have to keep my hope... It's all I can do at this point.'
Then she heard a familiar, welcoming, warm, deep, cold yet caring voice. "Hello, Lizzy."
