Hey there! I'm terribly sorry for the very late update. I was sick and then I had a bad case of writers block. I'm still not very sure on what to do with them. juggaloman Gave me the idea for this chapter so I'm going off that. Right now I'm open for suggestions. If you have any, leave a comment or message me. Anyways, enjoy.

~LIZZY'S POINT OF VIEW~

It was now only three, nearly four months since the incident on Christmas. Despite Ciel's obvious hatred for Hantai, him and I became close friends. Hantai and I seemed to get along quite well, he was kind and friendly, nothing like Ciel claimed he was.

Hantai and I had formed a strong friendship over these couple of months. In fact, him and I are having dinner together in town this evening. I can't wait. To be honest I don't have many friends. I have tons of acquaintances but only a handful of friends.

As I finished fixing my hair (with the help of Paula of course,) I wondered when I would see my fiancé once again. Ciel was busy, as always. He was currently out of town on duty for the Queen and I hadn't heard from him since before he left. He'd left only a couple of days after Christmas...

I let out a small sigh then shook him out of my thoughts. I took a look in the mirror, smiling faintly. I always tried to look my best, not for others but for me. Today I was wearing a light shade of red, simple black shoes, with my hair down and straight. My hair is naturally straight but I prefer it curled at times.

I stood up, thanking Paula. Afterwards I headed downstairs then outside to the carriage. My parents too were out of town and as for my brother, he was married now. So at times like this I was alone.

I shut the door behind myself then walked over to the carriage. The ride to town was long and dull.

As soon as I reached the town I left the carriage, bidding my driver goodbye before walking away. With my bag in hand I made my way to a nice restaurant down the street. It was a new Italian place that Hantai had suggested.

Outside of my destination stood my tall, blonde friend. I smiled happily while greeting him, "Hantai, hello. It's nice to see you, as always."

He returned the smile faintly. "Hello Lizzy, I must say you look lovely." The male took my hand, leaving a small kiss on the top of it causing another smile to form on my lips.

After he released my hand, he opened the door. "Shall we?"

I nodded a single time then responded, "Of course." I walked into the restaurant, Hantai following close behind me.

Once we were seated with a tall, young man walked over to our table. "Hello," He greeted us, setting two menus down with a smile.

After skimming the menu, I looked up at him, setting my menu down. I ordered a simple pasta. My friend ordered the same.

"And drinks?" The waiter asked after jotting down our order.

"I'll take a glass of wine." Hantai spoke then looked over at me. "You don't drink much, do you?"

I nodded my head a single time before handing the menu back to the waiter. "I don't, but a glass of wine sounds fantastic.."

It was true, I hardly ever drink. When I do have alcohol it's only when I'm offered. I only accept to avoid being rude, even so I won't take but only a few sips. But today was different.

I hadn't seen Ciel in months... I missed him and I was worried like crazy. He's my fiancé, though sometimes I feel as if I wasn't. Today was supposed to be fun, a day with just my friend and I. I want to enjoy today and not let my overthinking ruin this.

Hantai gave the waiter his menu with a nod and smile in return. "Alright." The waiter left only a moment later.
