Ciel focused his gaze on her, watching the smiling blonde cuddle up to him. "Lizzy..." He stroked her golden hair, pushing back a strand that had fallen to her eyes. The two teens remained in this position for a long moment, holding onto one another.
"Well, I better let you attend to your business." Elizabeth said silently as she pulled away from him, standing up afterwards. "Good night, I'll see you tomorrow." And with that she gave him a small wave along with a kind smile then left the room.
Ciel watched her walk away, admiring her from a distance. Her brought a few fingers to his lips, still lost in the kiss that they had shared only moments ago. "Damn.." He whispered to himself, the realization that their moment had been ruined had finally hit him; he was clueless.
Elizabeth made her way to the room she usually stayed in, only a few doors down from the one of her beloved's. The blonde made her way in, shutting the door afterwards. She sat down on the large bed, lost in thoughts of him. The kiss had send warmth throughout her entire body, like a pleasant electrifying burst of love. It sounded odd when she played back her thoughts in her head, but it didn't matter. All that mattered was how she felt. Their kiss had left a hope for romance in her.
She was visiting for the holidays, after all. Christmas was approaching and Elizabeth had the perfect gift for him, one that was sure to be memorable...But now it was ruined. She had wanted to give him a kiss, one that would be their first; however, Ciel had beat her to it today. She had a watch to give to him as well, but it wouldn't be as special. "I'll have to think of something else..." She muttered to herself followed by a long sigh.
Later that night, just before midnight, there was a knock on the door. With a groan, Elizabeth got out of bed, walking to answer the gentle knock.
It was Ciel, still dressed in his suit. "Lizzy, hi..." He smiled lightly, taking a moment to study her. She was dressed in a small nightgown that only reached mid-thigh, to his surprise. He had expected something big and frilly, yet pretty. Though it was the first time since he'd seen her like this, he'd never even seen her knee before. Even now she looked lovely. The small gown had long sleeves, and was an obvious v-neck, it was much more revealing than anything he'd ever seen her in. The gown only reached about mid-thigh, showing off her pale legs. He blushed a light red at the sight of her, taking a moment to gaze at her before speaking-a moment that lasted longer than he'd ever taken to look at anything.
Elizabeth noted the fact the Ciel took a moment to look at her, to really look at her. It was odd, to see him eye her up and down. It was almost as if he were taking a moment to study every part of her. Unsure of what to say, she kept her hands at her side.
She stepped aside, motioning for him to come in. "Well, come inside." As she moved, he entered, shutting the door afterwards.
"I-I just just wanted to say goodnight...You look lovely," He immediately regretted what had just left his mouth, it didn't sound right. He felt as if he'd just created some awkward atmosphere.
Elizabeth took a seat on her bed, Ciel following afterwards. "Thank you, and goodnight to you too." She glanced at him, smiling lightly.
He met her gaze slowly, offering him a ghost of a smile. The two stayed in that position for a long moment, sitting beside each other, simply staring at one another.
"Ciel...I have a question for you. I need you to be honest with me, completely honest," She took a pause, glancing away for a moment. Elizabeth focused her gaze on him while she spoke. "Do you care about me?" She asked quietly, her emerald eyes staring into his single sapphire eye.
"Of course, you're my fiancée." He answered simply, nodding a single time.
She shook her head a single time, releasing a sigh. "No, no. Let me rephrase that.. Do you care about me the way I care about you?" Though her voice remained calm, in her sweet, usual tone, there was a hint of denial. She moved in closer, taking his hand.
"I do, I do care about you, you only you," He answered, leaning in closer. Ciel kept his attention on her, watching her reaction. "I'm sorry it took so long to realize."
Elizabeth smiled, almost sadly. "I'm really happy to hear that." She released his hand, unsure on how to react.
Before she could utter another word, Ciel pressed his lips against hers, bringing her in for a soft kiss. "I care about you," He whispered after a moment. "Only you,"
