Please Don't Go

CHAPTER 21

Lances POV

I woke up sore from the way I slept. I ended up hunched over, arms crossed, next to Aiden.

Definitely going to have to hit the gym to stretch my back.

I looked at my watch, 8:00 am.

Four an a half hours of sleep. Wonderful. Maybe I can get some more sleep?

     I tried laying back down but it was so uncomfortable. I got up and went to one of the couches, it felt like a rock. There was no way I was going to be able to sleep here. I decided I would call Zach and see what he found. I stepped out of the room so I wouldn't wake Aiden.

I went to my car so I could talk in private. I wanted to head home to change clothes as well.

"Zach what do you have for me?"

"Regarding your sons accident, the car was most definitely rigged. Someone tampered with the break system, we are still trying to figure out who sir." I was pissed. No one messed with my boy unless they wanted a death warrant.

"Okay, when you find who did it, bring them to me. What about the girl?"

"Ah! This is where is gets tricky sir. The name you gave me, Lily Eyler, I did find one match to someone in New York. However, she's dead. She died in a car accident twelve years ago."

"How is that even possible? I was with the girl. What else did you find out?"

"She is married to a man named Aaron Charles Eyler. They have a daughter named Lilliana Eyler."

She's married and has a daughter? Wait... I saw a ring around her neck the other day, I didn't get a good view at it, but it was a ring. What if... she survived the crash. Oh my god, did I keep her from her daughter by making her stay?

"Thanks Zach." I hung up. I needed to hurry and get Lily back to her daughter. Separating a child from their parent is never the best, especially if a parent is gone.

I thought of how Charlotte left after Aiden was born. She had been cheating on me with one of my employees. She bailed and left me to care for Aiden. I made sure I had full custody of him and she would never be allowed to see him.

I gripped the steering wheel, just thinking of her made my blood boil. I got home a took a shower. I grabbed Aiden a few toys to keep him entertained along with some snacks. I put the stuff in the trunk and headed for the hotel.

I had no idea if she was awake and she hadn't called yet. I parked my car and headed in. I went straight for the elevator when I was stopped by Elizabeth.

"Darling, I missed you. You look tired, why don't we go upstairs and I'll treat you right?" She started running her hands over me.

God I hate this woman. GO AWAY THOT!

"Elizabeth, get your hands off me. We never have been and never will be a thing. I don't know why your entitled ass thinks you can touch me like this, but stop. If you don't, I will have you removed and banned from the building." Her nose flared and went to say something.

"Shut it. I have places to be, and it's not with a thot like you." He mouth fell open. I got in the elevator and closed the doors on her face. I couldn't help but smirk.

I walked down the hall to her room. There were only three rooms total on this floor. Each floor had twenty rooms on a floor. I wanted these rooms to be the biggest since it was for VIPs.
