Lances POV (shortly before calling Lilliana)
"Uncle Ollie!"
"Hey kiddo! How you feeling? Sorry I couldn't get here sooner, work kept me held up." I knew he was lying. I was his boss, there was no way I would keep him from visiting his nephew.
"It's okay Uncle, I know you were probably with some girl. Speaking of which, daddy and I met the prettiest and kindest girl ever!" Yes she's pretty, but she's psycho. Might want to reevaluate.
"Ooo, you will have to tell me all about it."
"Hey Ollie, can I have a word with you for a sec?" We needed to discuss what all he was telling my son. It's not okay.
"Sure. Be back in a sec bud." He patted Aidens leg and got up. We went into the hallway.
"What's up bro?"
"You know what's up. Oliver, you cannot keep teaching Aiden inappropriate things. Like sex for instance, he's FIVE Oliver!"
"The kid asked! I couldn't not explain it to him."
"And what exactly did you teach him!?" I was furious at him.
"Look, I'm sorry. I won't do it anymore. Just... don't let me not see him." Am I really that cruel?
"I'm not cruel enough to not let you see your nephew Ollie. Just, control what you teach him please."
"Okay." We went back in the room to see a very hyper Aiden. It's like he had just drank six shots of expresso. I looked at Oliver.
"Don't tell me..." I swear if this dude gave my son caffeine...
"Aiden, did you drink Uncle Ollies coffee when I left?"
"I always see adults drinking it! So I took a sip!" He's dead. Oliver always put six shots of expresso in his coffee, and my son had just drank half the cup.
"Where's Lily? I miss her, daddy I want her to come back here now!" So bossy.
"She said she had to go home and do some things, bud. Why don't we just... calm down and play with some toys or watch tv?"
"Nope! I want Lily!" He had gotten out of bed and was running around the room screaming for Lily.
"Aiden you are going to rip your stitches! Stop!" He had way too much caffeine in his system. Oliver had managed to catch him.
"Can this Lily chick calm him down?" Oliver was trying to keep a hold on Aiden.
"Yeah why?"
"Call her before I knock your kid out." I glared at him. I stepped outside the door and called her.
"Hey, when did you say you would be back? Aiden is going stir crazy again. My brother and I can't control him." I chuckled at how two grown men couldn't handle a five year old. She didn't say anything. "Lilliana? You there?"
"Yeah... Lance I need you to do something for me." What? This crazy chick got my head stuck in a window.
"You attacked my nuts, nearly killed me with a knife, attacked me over a doughnut, and trapped my head in the window. So let me think. Uh how about-
"LANCE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I know I don't know you well, but I'm begging you. I don't have much time left." Her voice was tremulous. What's wrong, this isn't like her to act so scared. She wasn't in a car accident... was she?
