Lilliana's POV
I woke up in a dimly lit room. I was sitting in a chair with my feet tied to the legs of it. A thick rope was wrapped around my thighs, strapping me to the seat. My hands were tied to the arm rests. I could barely move and I could hardly see anything. I slowly began to remember what happened.
"AIDEN?!" I can't loose him.
"Lily? Where are you? I'm scared!"
"It's okay buddy. Are you hurt? Talk to me buddy." I tried to loosen my hands but the rope was too tight.
"No. I'm tied up Lily. I'm so scared, please help me." He sounded like he was crying.
"It's okay buddy. Just breathe, I'm gonna get us out of here. Can you untie yourself?" My breathing became heavy, I was panicking. I didn't know where I was, Aiden either. That scared me the most.
"No. They have me tied to a big post."
He isn't tied the same way as me. Good. He can escape.
"Okay bud, listen carefully. I want you to-
"You seriously aren't planning on escaping are you? Come on Lily!" The mysterious voice cackled.
"Who are you! Let us go!" I screamed.
"Can't do that darlin'. I have orders, some of which are mine. But the big one..." he turned on the lights. I closed my eyes, it was so bright. "Is to make sure you... DIE!"
He He forcibly grabbed my face, forcing me to face him.
"Come on. Open up those pretty blue eyes." I recognized the voice. I slowly opened my eyes.
"J-James?" I was frozen in fear.
"Hello darlin'. Did you miss me?" I tried to pull my face out of his grasp, but he was too strong. "Oh come on! Don't be like that sweetheart. I missed you, I was so lonely in prison."
"Get your filthy hands off me! I don't care if you were lonely, go back and rot in your cell." I wanted to get Aiden out of here and kill the bastard in front of me.
"Fine." He let me go and walked out of sight. I turned to try and see him, but to no avail. I did however, see Aiden. He was sitting on the floor with his hands above his head tied to a post. Fat tears streamed down his face.
"L-Lily?"
"I'm right here bud." I reassured.
"Now isn't this cute? Reassuring a kid that isn't yours." James stood in front of me, but this time he had a hunters knife in his hand. I gulped.
"NO! Let her be! Lily I had a nightmare about this once! He stabs you in the chest, you die!" He was trying desperately to get to me.
"It was just a-
"Oh no, the kid is right. I plan on killing you. However, I will not be doing any killing in front of such an innocent boy. I'll save that for when you are... gone so to speak." Aidens eyes widened in shock.
James walked towards him.
"DON'T YOU DARE LAY EVEN A FRAKING FINGER ON HIM!"
"Ohhh! So the boy means so much to you. Gets you... angry? You even refuse to curse in front of him. So if I were to... hurt him, what would you do?" He was crouched behind him with the knife up to his cheek.
