“Oh My God,” I breathed. It was beautiful. He had planned all of this while we were visiting my dad, and I couldn’t even thank him enough. “Do you like it?” He breathed behind my neck. I turned around to face him, a good three inch above me. “What do you mean if I like it? I love it so much!” I said and turned back around to take in all his effort. There was a really comfy looking fort made entirely out of pillows, blankets, and cushion and there was a huge TV, and I caught a glimpse of all the Disney movies on the side waiting to be watched. An array of food was arranged on a nearby table, and Christmas lights hung around it. I took little steps, to look at everything. I turned back to see Jeff, scratching his nerves, looking really nervous. I ran to him and wrapped my arms around his neck tightly, and wrapped my legs on his waist. “Thank you so much, it’s really beautiful!” I breathed in his ears. He pulled my face closer to his and gently placed his lips on mine. We kissed passionately, and him occasionally biting my lips in an adorable effort to tease me. After a good 30 seconds of kissing. I finally let go, and ran to the fort, and plopped stomach first, holding my chin in my hands and smiled brightly at Jeff to come over. He jogged up and plopped beside me. “Which movie first?” he asked, reaching for remote control. “Frozen?” I suggested and he clicked on the movie icon.
After about 4 Disney movies, it was already dark, so we decided to dine in. Jeff called the room service ordered huge amounts of cheese pasta, pizza, ice cream and a whole lot of sweet potato fries. We kissed for a bit while waiting for the food. The bell finally rang signaling the food has arrived. The food was in a huge tray and Jeff offered to set the table, which we both decided was the bed. Once we settled on pizza on our plates, I asked Jeff, “How did you plan all of this,” I said gesturing to the whole room, “while you were with me?” . “Well, that is actually a secret,” he told, staring at his pizza slice. “Come on! Tell me! How did you?” I asked again, this time while tickling hi. “Okay! Okay! Fine! I’ll tell you!!,” he said, amidst laughing. “I was supposed to bring you here this morning, but we had to visit your father. So I asked Adam and the rest to help me set up the place, and food. Your mother offered to pay for the hotel and food,” he said, taking a bite of his pizza. “You mean everyone knew about this, but didn’t say a word to me?” I asked, pouting. “Yeah,” he said and scooped pasta on his plate.
After eating everything we ordered, we decided to watch the rest of the movies, which was The Lion King and Cinderella. After the movies we were done, Jeff and walked out to the terrace and the nightlife was breathtaking. The might lights from the buildings around us, together with the honking of the cars below to the busy street was somewhat beautiful, and I laid my head on Jeff’s shoulders, taking in my perfect life. “Thank you so much for everything Jeff, I really really love you,” I said and kissed him, just as a flash went off. I opened my eyes to see Jeff holding his phone in his hands, the camera directed to our faces. I grabbed his phone, to see the picture and it was beautiful. The buildings behind us, were lit up like stars in the night sky and Jeff and I were kissing, his right hand on the small of my back pulling me closer and my right hand on his waist and my left hand holding his face. It was the best picture I’ve seen of us. “You have a future as a photographer,” I told him and smiled. “Ahuh, yeah,” he said monotonously. “Let’s head to bed he said,” and we both climbed into the comfortable bed that resembled a marshmallow.
